Im going to miss Red Leaf High
Now that the game is down for the update, Red leaf High is over with. I went from level 170 to 193 from this event, doing the free daily key, whatever NX I could get from surveys(usually enough for 1 to 3 keys per day from watching videos and visiting sites for 32 NX each) and I bought a 10K NX card which got me 27 keys. This last day I managed a nice 6K NX off some surveys which got me 16 keys. I probably could have got to 195 if I'd realized sooner that buying keys in batches of 10 gave a free 11th key. The people who spend lots of money on NX cards probably did better than me in that regard. I did lose 2 keys though- died on one at the 3rd round, and the game crashed on me in the first round of another key.
I guess the totems were worth it, though they were a bit expensive.

and the answer is yes, you can still access RLH and use your keys if you have them (I left my character in there so I don't know if you can access from the outside) The quests have expired of course, but you can still run the gauntlet as long as you have keys.
It's the only reason I managed to reach level 194.
Considering all that survey NX bought me about 50 keys I hardly think it was a waste, considering most of those surveys are "visit this page for 32 NX", and they added up. I didn't have to spend actual cash(beyond buying 1 card), or buy NX from players which is always a risky method thanks to scammers, and I could put my mesos to totems, equipping other characters to be playable again, and other things.
Got from 142 (?) to 163 just by going on daily, haha.
Grats on level 200 for those of you who got there.

You need to think about this a little more. If we got 30 keys, we would still only be able to do the quests for this event once per day. We would get better experience with 1 key daily than we would with the 30 keys all at once.
This is not a chore and if you really feel this way, you may as well just walk away from the computer and do something else. This event is probably one of the most beneficial we have had in a while; Gives us an average of 20-25% experience, items drop with potential (averaging epic stats) and you can buy totems if you want a little boost for your characters. There is even an npc that gives you a totem for free for killing ghosts.
For a daily event that only takes 10 minutes or less out of your time while getting all of the above... Its worth the effort.

While it was repetitve and pretty boring, it was very fast at 19x-200, 11% a run at 199, with runs lasting 7ish mins at max. I personally went from 193-200 using red leaf high, and while I will not miss it, it was very helpful.
lmao, i went from 170-193 as well! (Used about 85 tickets including the daily tickets...so repetitive</3 and i had 3 left..lol)
but training from this point and onwards is slower!
7 more levels...will take a month or two. so lazy!

Yes, everyone loved the RLH event. I only had one problem with the whole situation: you're buying your levels. You're giving Nexon money to level your character. Any event that gives 15-20% per every 6-8 minutes that costs 400nx per attempt is nothing more than Nexon selling you levels. We all participated in it. Well, most of us anyway. But lets be honest here: You're buying levels.
I ran the free run each day on my main, got my 15-20% each day, and even bought 2 keys for my hermit so he could get a totem, but I'm not going to deny the fact that the Red Leaf High event was nothing more than Nexon enabling those with a bank account or a parent with a credit card to let them buy levels. It was worse than 3x cards.
I'm not bashing the expenditure of NX, as I'm just as guilty as the next person for sending Nexon any money to begin with for anything, nor am I jealous of anyone having NX to spend as I'm perfectly able to buy it myself, but I am a realist and actually glad the Red Leaf High is over. Far too many noobs grabbed up their well-off parents credit cards, (these are the same young teenagers that spend literally hundreds and hundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars on cubes on per item), and made level 190-200 characters, all with the power of $. That's just not the way the game was meant to be played, imho.
Now there's all these dumb-dumb niblets walking around at level 190+ with 12 fame asking me stupidass questions like "Where's Lyka?", and "Do I HAVE to have an Eye of Fire to Zak?", etc.
Just glad it's finally over.

got to 199 99% on my BM. got all my 4th jobbers lvled so easily (they're never gonna level again cuz i hate training haha) ;x

when i realized rlh was much better than training (the second last day) i got like 40 keyss and used them all the day of the update and got from 196-200 in a day well im 199 99.62% cuz im waiting to lvl xD
I couldn't use all my keys in time....do you think they will let people that still have keys in their inventory have access? I know they've done it for past Nx Dungeon events.

another great event by nexon america is the special beauty coupon event which was incredibly awesome
That was the only method I was using for leveling from 128 - 164. Absolutely no training. Now I can't train longer than 15minutes without being bored out of my skull.
Eh, I liked and didn't like. Ironically the great thing about it was also something I didn't like about it.
I mean I got from 169-183 on my mage, and 143-160 on my bucc. But it felt too fast for me since I NEVER focus on leveling on chars past lvl 120. Mainly because the more higher leveled you get, the less there is to do.
too bad i couldn't afford the 100m totems
I was annoyed that the Kumi totems cost the most, but had lower stats than the one before it.

165~186. Started whiten the final two weeks after I was compensated with a load of Maple Points. Best decision ever. If I did it more consistently I would be at least 190.

same here, i bought the perm transparent package on my aran, around 30k nx, with that i could have easily got it to level 200 from level 192

Compared to normal training or for some ppl, LHC training? This event was actually interesting and basically everything we do in this game is repetitive. Its nice to get events like this that actually help and NX was unnecessary to still get a few lvls in for characters. Nexon should have something this helpful more often, cuz not everyone can do 2x events.
I wasted 6 keys worth of NX on miracle cubes, I'd be at 194 if not for that. I got a little over 10K total points across everyone, didn't get enough cash on the last day for a Kumi totem so I bought a golden Little Dragon, figures the STR bonus would at least amount to something. I also bought cheapo totems of the other 2 so they can sit in my inventory and be looked at.
At 85 points per run, I figure I had over 100 keys total, free plus purchased.
Wish I participated earlier, it was pretty awesome exp, I jumped from 143-150 in the last 2 weeks and managed to get ~1100 points.
i to will miss it...
