I'm sophmore in college taking physics, calc, american history, physics lab, and computer science. In college, homework is never graded so it's not mandatory to do (except for some classes that require essays). I normally do practice physics or calc problems 3 days before a test and spend roughly 3 hours doing HW. For history, I do same thing. If a test is in 3 days, ill devote 3 or something hours to read my book for 3 days till my test.
I usually spend first period copying other people's hw, so around an hour a day?
Like 15 minutes on average, sophomore.
2-4 hours grade 9 ^^
When I was in high school I did around 6 hours of homework per night, sometimes less, sometimes more.
Since college started I've only had to do homework 3-4 out of 7 nights each week, and it's only around 2 hours worth.
[EDIT]
Oh, my grades in high school were mostly A's (I had almost a 100.00 weighted average by the end of my senior year), and I have around a 3.75 GPA in college.
10th grade. Depends on my night: some days I'll spend none doing my homework (doesn't mean I don't have any though LOL) and other nights I'll be up well into the wee hours of the morning. Procrastination!
0 hours, 0 minutes, 0 seconds.
Grade 8 O-o I know I shouldn't be getting homework anyway but lots of people in my class are..... o.o err i guess their brain isn't up to grade..?
0 ~ 3 hrs of homework.
I'm a Junior in highschool and I'm not doing so bad.
Depends from day to day...if I procrastinate (which I usually do), I end up with about 6 hours worth of homework for one subject alone the day before the due date. =D + 2 hours of other stuff = 8 hours? On not-work-cramped days (the days I procrastinate...), around 1-2 hours?
Assuming I never procrastinate and am a wonderful time manager, around 3-4 hours of homework I guess. (If you count studying, 5+ hours)
Last year of HS ._.
First year of university, I only do assignments and study (AKA staring at notes) since my classes don't have hardcore questions that must be practiced like chemistry, math, physics, and so forth.
So basically none lol.
Depends on the work load and schedule. I should be spending more time on homework, rather than mapling or youtubing. So.. about 1-2 and a half?
I'm a high school senior who is dual enrolling in my local community college...so technically equivalent of a college freshman.
My GPA up to date is 3.78 (weighted).
30 minutes, on rare occasion an hour or two. Freshman in HS with all A's, just got lucky with my classes this semester. c:
Junior in HS and only do about 10-30 minutes every week. My grades are 6 A's and 2 B's.
Cool. Looks like year 11 and twelve has no homework jsut studying for tests. Year 10-12 was what I was mainly worrying about, the fact I might have to go all nighter every day and no Maple.
Since you're in Australia, it depends on what ATAR you want. I'm really stupid but I'm so desperate for a 99+ so I'm doing about 5-6 hours a day on school days and pretty much living at the library on school holidays.

No such thing as homework in University.
im 11th grade
I have about 5-6 hours of homework each day. most ppl have 6-8 in my school who are tking more harder classes.
I have a 4.0
hmm. well this semester has been pretty laid back
so I tend to put things off until the last like.. 2 days before due date..
so mostly no homework. kinda busy without school work anyway.
11th Grade(South Australian Education system)
0-1 hour a day. Pretty much all homework is unmarked so I'll do it in study line. My priorities go assignments > homework > playing my psp or DS in study line.
11th grade.
On an average day, about 0 to an hour. I usually don't have homework, most of my classes are lecture and test based. So I just study when we have tests.
Except for the past two weeks though, I have been SWAMPED with work, papers, projects, and tests.
So I was literally up past midnight every single day finishing things up and studying. I pulled about 5 all nighters in those two weeks.
Awesome thanx guys I guess I should just get my friends to do our homework during lunch/recess.
grade 8th
never do homework
I never do homework at home, I do it whenever I have free time in school
I'm a senior, but I did it before also
Yr 11, Usually 3~6 hours. Non Stop.
Yes, i study alot but take ages to remember things.
I'm in 11th, I get about 4 hours of homework every night before projects. I get about 1-2 projects a week too. I have 2 AP classes and 4 honors.
In college..
Homework? B Please..
1-2hours, 5th grade. DAM! 2 hours till skool.... GOTTA DO HW!
1 to 2 hours of homework normally, probably more.
@Above just as I expected
Hm I see. Cool thanx guys your the best I was expecting like 10hrs a day for year 11s and 12s. Such a relief!
Senior in High School. None to half an hour. 3 AP classes. Senioritis has kicked in a little earlier than expected!
Melbourne University first year...
At least 2. ._.
AP world alone is 6 hours per day
1 or 2 hours. grade 8.
Grade 11.
0 hours, no ap classes. Still got dem' A's and B's.
Grade 10, usually 1~2, if I got projects and such around 3~4.
Grade 11. Not much homework but studying is darn important.
Grade 11
30 min to 1 hour per day usually
There's ALWAYS math homework. She never gives us time T_T
I choose classes in which the grades are almost solely dependent on tests.
Depends.
I usually cram so when i actually do homework it takes a long time...
(Today is one of dem days. 12:38 AM. Just taking a 'break')
i do them all at school. i'm a sophomore
Well I'm in 2012 and 2nd year in uni.
Grade 7
No homework from school. I finish it in class.
My mother however gives me homework herself to practice. So around 30-1 hour of homework each day.
grade 10
it takes me like 1-2 hours to do it, but i'll have it only 2-3 times a week.
0-1
a's and b's
junior year
Lovely. I'm a year 7 kid in Australia and I do like 20minutes a day on average. Sometimes 2 hrs sometimes none. Is this normal? And how much will i get by year 10?
This is probably irrelevant but 7th grade:
At the beginning of the year it was about 3 hours of homework, all the teachers would give heaps
A little while after, it shortened to about 20 minutes
After it was pretty much no homework at all probably because of the science fair
Now it's vacation no homework at all
I do like 3 hours/day.
Grade 12. And only this year, cause I killed myself with hard classes and I really wanna make it count.
Anyways, should be easier next year!
Lovely to hear from Australians cuz I am
I rarely ever do homework.
I'm in college
