How many hours of homework on average do you do a day?

Please post what year you are in and what your grade is.

I'm sophmore in college taking physics, calc, american history, physics lab, and computer science. In college, homework is never graded so it's not mandatory to do (except for some classes that require essays). I normally do practice physics or calc problems 3 days before a test and spend roughly 3 hours doing HW. For history, I do same thing. If a test is in 3 days, ill devote 3 or something hours to read my book for 3 days till my test.

I usually spend first period copying other people's hw, so around an hour a day?

When I was in high school I did around 6 hours of homework per night, sometimes less, sometimes more.

Since college started I've only had to do homework 3-4 out of 7 nights each week, and it's only around 2 hours worth.

[EDIT]

Oh, my grades in high school were mostly A's (I had almost a 100.00 weighted average by the end of my senior year), and I have around a 3.75 GPA in college.

10th grade. Depends on my night: some days I'll spend none doing my homework (doesn't mean I don't have any though LOL) and other nights I'll be up well into the wee hours of the morning. Procrastination!

Depends from day to day...if I procrastinate (which I usually do), I end up with about 6 hours worth of homework for one subject alone the day before the due date. =D + 2 hours of other stuff = 8 hours? On not-work-cramped days (the days I procrastinate...), around 1-2 hours?

Assuming I never procrastinate and am a wonderful time manager, around 3-4 hours of homework I guess. (If you count studying, 5+ hours)

Last year of HS ._.

First year of university, I only do assignments and study (AKA staring at notes) since my classes don't have hardcore questions that must be practiced like chemistry, math, physics, and so forth.

So basically none lol.

Depends on the work load and schedule. I should be spending more time on homework, rather than mapling or youtubing. So.. about 1-2 and a half?
I'm a high school senior who is dual enrolling in my local community college...so technically equivalent of a college freshman.
My GPA up to date is 3.78 (weighted).
Cool. Looks like year 11 and twelve has no homework jsut studying for tests. Year 10-12 was what I was mainly worrying about, the fact I might have to go all nighter every day and no Maple.
Since you're in Australia, it depends on what ATAR you want. I'm really stupid but I'm so desperate for a 99+ so I'm doing about 5-6 hours a day on school days and pretty much living at the library on school holidays.

11th Grade(South Australian Education system)

0-1 hour a day. Pretty much all homework is unmarked so I'll do it in study line. My priorities go assignments > homework > playing my psp or DS in study line.

11th grade.
On an average day, about 0 to an hour. I usually don't have homework, most of my classes are lecture and test based. So I just study when we have tests.

Except for the past two weeks though, I have been SWAMPED with work, papers, projects, and tests.
So I was literally up past midnight every single day finishing things up and studying. I pulled about 5 all nighters in those two weeks.

This is probably irrelevant but 7th grade:
At the beginning of the year it was about 3 hours of homework, all the teachers would give heaps
A little while after, it shortened to about 20 minutes
After it was pretty much no homework at all probably because of the science fair
Now it's vacation no homework at all

I do like 3 hours/day.

Grade 12. And only this year, cause I killed myself with hard classes and I really wanna make it count.

Anyways, should be easier next year!
