Preceding the suggestion of taking a statistics class, you should take a philosophy class, because you clearly failed it.

It's like teaching a Tiger to eat plants instead of animals. I can be classy, too.

You're right, I don't need to know it because it doesn't help anything, congratulations on taking a useless class.
Or you can just replace the word "good luck" and "bad luck" with it didn't or did happen, it just wasn't time, or it'll happen sooner or later.

I'm sorry that you have a masters degree on statistics class. I don't remember people talking about luck in that, btw.

You should take a statistics class asap. Maybe then you'll learn.
Think about it. If you have a 70/30 chance of pass/failing a mastery book, can you turn your pass rate into 100%? No. The result you get will be dependent on luck- it's just that you have a much higher chance of getting lucky and passing the book. If you fail, well that's bad luck for you because you just happened to chance upon the 30% fail.
You can't have an opinion over whether or not luck exists. Luck exists in everything that is percentage-based and not within our control. What result we get is due to luck and chance- sometimes the odds are more in our favor and sometimes they're not.
-laughs-

no thanks.
Pretty contradictory if you ask me. Typically we can call it luck.

Imo, luck is just a word that was made to be an excuse for something that happened that was either good or bad.
There are situations that luck cannot be applied to, but with mastery books it's 100% there.

I know the definition. But I want to believe otherwise.

Think about it as 70 books out of 100 will work. Maybe you needa fail 30 books before you succeed xD

....Um, it's still luck whether or not you pass/fail since you have no control over the %.

I failed 4 AEEs with an 80% chance. Shielding Ward with each. Consider yourself lucky it's nothing too expensive.
