Killing gollux
Hi i'm having trouble killing gollux on a marksman. I can't find any guides or videos online that explain where to position, where to put illusion, etc. only videos of people killing it so can anyone help with this. Currently I can only kill the easy version and I still usually die once in easy. I think I have enough damage to kill normal or possibly hard (around 450k with mpe potion and 12 att elixir) but I always die 5 times before I can do much to it. Can anyone explain what to do as marksman? I'm not sure if this is a good idea but since pierce is longer range than snipe I can stand a bit further away. Anyone with more experience or knowledge on this please help!

I always kill the abs when I fight gollux, but since a few of you have experience with it, I have a question I hope you can answer.
If you kill off one of the shoulders, which side of the head map does it disable the hand from appearing on?
When I had a 150k range, normal mode only took 5 minutes to kill. You should be more then able to kill even hard mode, but you got to practice and see what strategy to use.
Sometimes, when I place arrow illusion when it is attacking, he locks onto it and I just stand on the other side at maximum distance attacking it. If that doesn't work, I stand away where the breath attack cant hit me at the side that doesn't have the arm attack and just keep using snipe until the monsters get close to the middle.
For hard mode when I went with a friend, it wouldn't attack the arrow illusion for some reason though I believe it can if you time it. If it keeps attacking you, stand close near the middle and move away from his attacks when necessary. If it does attack the arrow illusion, stand away and attack.
When it gets to the eyes, stand on the right edge and keep attacking. If you are in the right place, the 1hko attack will never hit.
