1.6m NX. Fake?

A kid from my school says he has 1.6m nx.
I personally don't believe it, but i have no way of telling if it's fake or not.

you should help me prove him wrong, basil community.

It is an edited screenshot, go paste it in Paint, and zoom in on the 1's, they should be exactly the same, but as you can see, they aren't. Good try faking it, but not good enough. =3

well considering that there are a ton of merchants out there and that it is very possible to make all that nx via mts than i could say with assurance that this is real lol.

All this controversy to prove fake/real. @_@

Why do people assume he used photoshop to edit the picture? It's so easy he could have used Paint. -_-

OT : The 1,647 looks a bit more bold font than the rest, so I am going to say fake.

You still haven't listened to my advice.

Have him meet with you on that character. Anything else is easily edited.

PokeTheFace, I remember selling things to him everytime I gached, he's a merchant.
But as for the NX part, I don't know. Looks photoshop'd, but his background tells me otherwise.
Considering its a jpg. Jpg files are low in quality for a game like maplestory, it burns the outside of anything sharp. Maplestory isnt a high res game if it where a GIF you would see that there is no difference between the background of the numbers and the background of the actual outside of the numbers. I thought the same too so dont worry.

@FireTuhRuck
OHH THATS WHAT THOSE THINGS WHERE FOR?... Well that means he must have gached alot right? since i havent seen anyone with it.

just checked it out, it costed 500 gach stamps. 1 ticket = 1$ so he wasted the least of 500$ on that stupid chair, definitly not a shoop.
drop tradeable as well.
Actually anyone who says that the numbers are out of line or the numbers are different are wrong.

http://i54.tinypic.com/2j4vqew.png

(1) The 0s are perfectly in line with one another.
(2) The "," and "1" are Perfectly set apart from eachother as you can see i put transparency on the list of numbers and it lies EXACTLY ontop and spacing is exact as wedding tuxedos "," and "1"

Edit*

@above the commas are exactly the same.

He could've easily shooped his 1.6million gold into 1.6million nx, BUT!
(3) Your friend is level 25 yet he has dreamcatcher(EXP HAIR) and a rat face...

i looked his name up and i also found this

http://s814.photobucket.com/albums/zz67/thisismiiacc/?action=view&current=PokeTheFace.png

He has a tiger chair, i didnt even know that existed.

But its after release of arans so it cant be tooo long ago.

http://i814.photobucket.com/albums/zz67/thisismiiacc/PokeTheFace.png

In conclusion, I personally think its legit.

If there was a thank button i would ask you to click it but since there isnt, someone say thanks? :]

Edit*

@Above the commas are exactly the same.

@Under look at (2) same numbers are put next to eachother even with a comma in the middle.
Nice. The tiger chair was from gacha stamps. you just traded them in too the administrator and you had a huge list of items to pick from.
and thanks for all your research.

One way to find out if he really has this nx is to tell him to post something in wanted section in mts with all his nx.

Thats less than 2k... Ive known a few people who have spent more than 2 grand on maple but not all at once so this is plausible

the numbers there really make this ambiguous since the spacing is different for each digit
if there were similar digits beside each other it would be easier to tell
u guys are like forensic scientist trying to solve the crime if this is real or not

real or fake, it doesnt matter, if hes lying hes lying it doesnt affect ur life in any way
It affects it because if it's true we can tell his friend has no life.

To all the people saying it's a PS it isn't because the items on the sidebar were just recently released in the latest patch.

people think that everytime someone has an obscene amount of NX its either a waste of money or they edited/hacked it....

Do people even think about MTS merchanting? It's a lucrative trade once you know what's going on...
Lol @ everyone saying "Omgaah iss ed1ted lo0k at teh pixols!". Why would you take a well known merchant who probably made that much anyway and edit that in? And what else would that merchant be taking a SS of? His EXP Card?

I think the question would be if he actually is this merchant or not.
He said he had 1.6m nx.
he took the SS to show.
and he typed "HiMichael"
My name's michael.

Edited.
I think I know Photoshop when I see it. The 1647 is more higher than the other numbers and the font is slightly bigger.

I might be wrong. 98% sure though.
the fact that its all nx prepaid seems fishy
Not at all, MTS only gives prepaid if you hadn't noticed.

He could have Photo shopped it.
He could have a crap load of money.
He could have been a really good MTS mercher.
