Range needed to solo horntail
As a dk. I currently have 35k range at level 140, still working on it as I just came back from a break. And also, how should I perfect scroll my fafnir spear? What scrolls should I use and how should I get them?

white scrolls were taken out of the game a while ago you cant get them anymore
I'm useful! My DrK is 168 with a 77k buffed with no attack pot, between 40 and 50% boss damage and relatively low PDR (what ever DrK base is +10%).
He can solo fairly easily just remember to save pact in case of an unlucky seduce. kill the tail asap with sacrifice and gugnir then use impale to bring down the arms/head/body together. If you have HP issues focus the arms 1st. With my 48k hp i just soak the minions and magic hits for seduce. It takes me about 10 minutes counting the pre fight heads. (my impale hits him for around 350~500k per line)
With level 1 revenge and the 150 hyper skill up 1 revenge heals me to near full which helps during seduce.
I would recommend getting attack speed/attack potions from monster park extreme on other toons as they are broken as hell.
Edit: at 140 you'll have a 10% miss rate which could cause you problems, HT is 160 IIRC.

You should be able to solo regular horntail easily...if your range is clean and not buffed. Just prepare to endure seduce in the 3rd part.

Wait for anniversary event scrolls. HT should be easy at like 100x idk
