@netanel: GMS might change things like they have with Luminous and AB, and make TBs need mastery books. In which case I'd probably quit since I'm leveling my TB at this moment.

From what I've seen, buccs and strikers have different play styles.

GMS hyper skills for Hero characters came out Dec.? 2012, that's only 4 months. So yea, I wouldn't be surprised if revamped Striker comes out end of spring.

Given that all new classes, once released, are very godly until their nerf months later, I can assure you that striker will have a pretty decent damage output (even after nerf, since most new classes are still decent after their nerfs)

Besides that, you should definitely make a striker because they look very fun. Their attacks are very versatile and they can all link (That means very little delay between skills!)

actually striker's 150hyper gives them a huge boost in dps:+25%att and the buff requirement and cd of typhoon is removed which means they can link annihilate and typhoon for a crazy dps(even though its not calculated yet i believe it is faster and stronger than octopunch)

Viper have better outright dps, striker will probably be buffed up a bit before its official release.
Striker are more versatile then viper and will have a more interesting training pattern instead of spam DS -> spam Laser.

They are not too strong (like Kaisers and post-hyper skill Marksman), but they are definitely not weak. They're more in the middle.

make a bucc now and get knuckles before they inflate.

We have no flash jump compared to Strikers So there's that to consider.

Just make a buccaneer for now, if you like the upcoming playstyle of strikers when they still get here you can move the gear you accumulated on your bucc to it if you didn't get bound equips.

No strikers are the name of Thunder Breakers in KMS
