The Little Prince, Invisible Monsters, and Kafka on the Shore are all great
e: Brave New World too
Sherlock Holmes and The Schwa Was Here
Kafka on the Shore. Its not everybody's cup of tea but i loved that book
I'm going to say Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger because it's the first book I ever read that I literally could not put down. I was actually excited to be reading it. I think I was 16 at the time. I don't really read at all, but that book will always hold a special place to me.
Can you explain to me why you find it interesting? I read it for gr11 English and to me it sounded like a teenager complaining about their life while making hypocritical statements.
Cherub series, Percy Jackson series, The lost hero series, The hunger games was alright..
A series of unfortunate events & The Outsiders
I enjoyed those when i read them a few years back. Stay golden pony boy.
A series of unfortunate events & The Outsiders

that's a darn good book may i add.
mine is they boy who saved baseball.
basically, any baseball book.
@DeniseWong: Yeah i've heard about Brave New World. i'll probably get to it at some point.
My sister's keeper or the gunslinger.
cherub
i read that ^___^
and like denise said, brave new world was good too. actually better than 1984 imo. Also Fahrenheit 451.
@gvjko: Well, I've read from Medieval literature to current literature (like hunger games and twilight). Medieval literature I do not recommend at all just because it's beyond difficult to read and understand. If you like 1984, then you might like stuff like Brave New World. I quite like John Milton's Paradise Lost too, but that book is kind of like poetry-ish and it's not a favourite of everyone.

I know dear, I know.
@DeniseWong: Cool, I'm 15 years old and ave read none of history's best, But im starting. I thought id start with 1984 because it really appealed to me. not sure what's next though.
@gvjko: Thank you! I used to be an English major until I switched to psychology. So I've read most of history's most profound literature and such.

Inheritance Cycle
Harry Potter
World War Z by Max Brooks
Forever and always.
the wind-up bird chronicle is definitely my favorite
haruki murakami is also my favorite author, lol
The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Frankenstein.
Gersberms, mah fravrit berks.
Animal farm and Book Thief.
I have many favorites!
But I love Jane Eyre. It's amazing how she undergoes 5 distinct stages of her life through which she develops as a character in terms of identity.
Another book i love is Pride and Prejudice. The way the author manages to solve Elizabeth's metaphorical blindness is beautiful and the symbolism of "pemberly" reflects Darcy's character really well.
Dante's Inferno is amazing too. The stages of hell are described with such intricate detail and Lucifer himself was illustrated with such imagery. As well, I love how Inferno draws upon references from other historical context, such as the Illiad or the Aeneid.
The Cross Examination of Oliver Finney
batman: the long halloween.
Perks of being a wallflower
The Percy Jackson Series,39 clues
I really enjoyed Battle Royale
