Cheers to those who buy themselves Xmas presents
WIT DEY OWN MONEYS instead of waiting for others to get them the stuff they want.
I'll be buying myself a pair of Vans, a few Hanes shirts and a few Fruit of the Loom sweaters and that'd be it.
How 'bout shoe?
@ICantKs: Well, if you want to live under a total control of your family belief, go ahead. If you family said, sex is frowned upon in our family, what would you do?
You really don't think. Sex creates future generations. If sex was frowned upon, there would be no family. If you want to put up a good argument, please, just think thoroughly about what you're going to argue.
Frowning upon the purchasing of material goods is more implied than explicitly stated. You can't say "No. We will not partake in buying material goods" because that's what we humans are custom to. It's what we're fine tuned to do. What do you do when something goes wrong? You replace it. The same thing can't be said about sex, for that matter. There aren't as many alternatives there are for goods than a service like sex.
Goods are replaceable; services aren't.
Cheers to people who spend more money buying others presents than receiving any.
Cheers to those who have to spend the money they get on Christmas.

i don't really care about christmas presents.
i just expect to get some every christmas.
@ICantKs: Your overzealous comment doesn't make my point any less valid.
I'm getting my hair cut for this first time in over a year as a present for myself (I have curls so i need a professional, it should cost about $80 for a haircut plus tip, and about $40 to buy some new curl shampoo and conditioner ><
I'm buying myself DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 so excited

Let's all hop under the tree of life and frolic in the meadows and prance with the reindeer and build flawless snowmen.
Sheesh, you might as well pull the "Why buy yourself presents when there are children starving in Africa?" trigger.
>_>
I'm getting myself vans as well
I bought like 40 bucks in gas earlier...Does that count?
Depends.
How long does 40 bucks of gas last for you?
Are you telling me that you will wait until Christmas to buy stuff you want?
Yep.
Buying material goods is frowned upon on my family. Christmas is the only time we actually get to spoil ourselves/others.
Are you telling me that you will wait until Christmas to buy stuff you want?
=/ I was going to buy myself a psp 3000 with my own money this black friday but something tells me otherwise.
Cheers to me! I'm buying myself some headphones.
That's not called a "Christmas present" then...it's just buying stuff for yourself that you can do any time you want...
Parents buy their own presents, and label it from Santa.
Ah, gotcha.
uncheer
So... Pretty much just cheers to parents with young children.
But young children really don't buy their own presents; they get presents bought for them.
