To all you guitarists I'm planning on teaching myself the guitar (with the help of the internet ofc, and some method books). Could you guys tell me what i need to know before hand? I currently play the piano, so i'm familiar with some notes etc With the guitar method books i have, none of them mention guitar notes e.g. where E,G,G# etc is, and they all just teach chords? Sooo, just wondering if i need to learn the notes of the guitar? Or just read the tabs?

Any streetpass luck? So to those with the 3ds, have you had any luck with streetpass, and what country are you in? I doubt many would own a 3ds in Australia two days after the launch, but hopefully the numbers will increase.

I got attacked by a magpie gang So I was casually cycling around my local park and I hear a loud, threatening screech that paralyzed me. Need a different hairstyle So I'm asking you basilers to help me find some :) I currently have side bangs/fringe, or what some of you would call "The generic asian hair". I prefer some short/medium length hairstyles that look good with or without styling, and sidebangs. I've had the fauxhawk for a couple of months, but I hated having to style it day after day. The Queensland floods So for the basilers in Australia, you must've heard about the QLD floods; what do you think about it? Are you going to donate? I just saw footage of it on the 7PM project, and it just broke my heart to see everyone have their homes destroyed.
