What gets you moving each day? I look forward to school and my after school activities and seeing my friends, and by the end of the week, I feel like I need a break, which is where the weekend comes into play. On the weekends, I still study, but at a leisurely pace. Summers get boring at times, but I am finding more and more hobbies.
Video Game collection price check please? So I don't play my video games anymore, so I figure it would be wise to sell to someone because trading in to amazon is a rip off and ebaying it 1 by 1 will take much too long for my interests. Can malicious files start infecting before opening it? I always read to scan files before opening them. Okay, that doesn't sound too bad. But once you download a file, can't it already start doing damage before you even run/open it, as it is already on the harddrive? Thanks.
Studying by taking practice exams? The AP Euro exam is coming up. I read every chapter throughout the year and I don't want to re-read the whole book again from now until the test. To be honest I'm not really sure how to study for this. My review book is just a bunch of text also, almost as long as the textbook. When I got my permit, I just did the practice problems after a brief review of the booklet. I think that helped the most. Do you think I should just print off previous exams and take them to study?
What math property is this ca/b I'm not sure what to rewrite this is, but the directions says to.. The title wouldn't let me write it correctly, so this is it. C^(A/B) I know that P^(N+M) is rewritten as P^N * P^M but I've never seen it like above... Any thoughts? Thanks! Date to dance wants to pay herself We are going as friends. It is ~$20/person. I am going through no financial difficulties and am capable paying because ethically, to me, it seems like the right and gentleman like thing to do because I did ask her to the dance. She gave me money back even when I already payed and won't take it back. It just found its way into my hands. How should I go about giving it back? Or what should I do? do not see me keeping the money as an option. Thanks. Can somebody please help clarify something in Algebra for me I'm in a higher math course now, but I struggled with this in algebra and forgot it, so I'm in trouble if I don't clarify this. 1. 6(3^x) = 6 I say divide each side by 6, but doesn't the (3^x) on the left make it an unlike term? And after dividing by 6, would it be (3^x) = 1 OR (3^x)/6 = 1 2. 5(4xy) is it 20xy or 20(4x)(4y) if it's 20xy, then why in (xy)^2, why is the solution x^2(y^2) ? 3. (x + 5)^2 (x * 5)^2 I would assume the answer to be x^2 * 25 in both? Thank you! I'm probably overthinking it, but I just want to be clear for now on.
Math Functions fx questions If f(x) = Y, then does that mean f(x) IS Y? example: f(x) = 3x + 2 ; Y = 3x + 2, both are equal? What does f(3) = 2x + 1 mean? Is Y equal to 3 or 2x +1 ? What do you do besides using the computer for free time? Most of us here probably use the computer a whole lot. I admit I do too, a little too much. Aside from schoolwork and a little physical activity, occasional hanging out with friends, I'm on the computer. I started timing how many hours I stay on and it is a whole lot. Anyways, what do you do besides use the computer, video games, tv? I don't exactly like to read, which might be a popular thing. Well, I do, but on the internet; not legit books. I'd like to workout more, but I have issues in my legs and arms that I've been trying to heal for months. So that rules out running many miles and serious weightlifting.

How do most students at your school view your school distric *district At my school, most students that I hear, at least, say that the school disctrict is horrible w/ its administration/teachers and is greedy, always asking for money / issuing fees, and (insert any negative thing ppl say) [high school btw] They also seem jealous of the schools in 'wealthier' neighborhoods, but they don't see that our school is still a whole lot better than some other ones out there. Another way to phrase this is: How much pride do the students at your school have in their school?
Do you feel smarter after spending time discussing on basil? After discussions tonight and even in the past, I feel like I am able to learn something new, learn of other perspectives, practice my writing, and learn new vocabulary that people use and I have to google. I guess this could be a discussion about discussions? I feel like this thread will be short. Who knows? Even with the not so great things posted, it is humorous.
What books/writings have changed your life/thinking? I don't know if anyone else does this, but I like to read some quotes to become inspired in whatever I need. I don't read many books, so I'm just curious what is out there and how it changed other people.
How important are you friends to you? Your experiences? They come and go, but some last for a lifetime. I value my friends. We do fun stuff. I want to say they are the most important people in my life, but I find it true that life could and may go on without them, but it would be a bit more lonely. I'll cherish the memories after High School when we all move on. For the College Students or above, do you still talk to any of your HS friends? Are you still as close? I remember in Elementary School where I would get along with most of my class and I thought we would all be friends in Middle School. Middle school was an awkward stage for me. Did Maplestory change or did You? Okay, I haven't played MS for a while, but I have some feelings that I would like to discuss. And of course, Maplestory did change with updates, but that's not the 'change' I mean. I think most of you will understand what I mean. I'm not a really old player, but I was playing a while before pirates. I would get bored from the limited stuff there were. It wasn't really 'limited,' but I played so much that it just got repetitive. When new things came out, I liked them. But I played so much again and got bored. I had an on and off thing w/ MS. Back when the 'missing the old maple' thing started, I joined in. I think it's because we were so new to the game then and want that experience again of just loading Map
