Chemistry Gas Question Graph Hi, I have a question about gasses and a plot for pv vs. p I have a graph similar to this one except the pressures are between 0 and 1 atm and my pv values are all ~22.3. We are assuming 1mol and 0 degrees C of CO2. How would I be able to determine the RT value using the plot. Apparently this equation is needed but we've never used it before. PV = RT + BP where B is a constant. Here is the plot. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! edit: i thought it might have something to do with the slope of the graph but im not at all sure

Chemistry Question Help Hey guys. I have a question about chromatography for this lab we're doing. Let's say we have a solution with copper ions in it. The copper ions travel 20 mm while the solvent front travels on for 80 mm. Now, in another chromatogram of a solution of a mixture with cations, the solvent travels 70 mm. If the same copper ions from the first ones were this solution, how far would they travel. What I'm looking for is whether or not there is a relation between the distance the ions travel to the solvent front or if there is no effect. The way I see it is if the solvent front travels 80, and the ions travel 20, the difference is 60 and so in the next chromatogram, it would travel 70-60=10mm OR it has no effect at all and wil

Laptop Help Hello. I'm going to university in under 20 days (boo) and I'm looking to purchase a laptop. Some info: -I live in Canada -I'm going to be studying life science (biology, chemistry) -Programs include MS Word, Chrome, some basic biology and chemistry programs that I may have to download for class (nothing too big, hopefully) -I want it to be able to play games on it (League of Legends specifically) -I'm not too interested in game settings. I usually play at medium on my PC. -I'm going to do the majority of my research and my assignments on the laptop but also on my home computer (so I want to transfer stuff easily between the laptop and computer) -Battery Life isn't too important but of course the longer, the better. -Pretty much

Confucianism help - Rules to follow Hi, Basil! I'm doing a mini presentation on Confucianism and I was wondering if anyone could help me out a bit. I'm looking for a set of rules that people who adhere to Confucianism must follow. For example: -Jews are not allowed to eat pork -Muslims can't drink wine -Christianity has the 10 commandments So I need stuff like that. Simple rules that they follow. I found things that relate more to how they should behave such as the Filial Piety (Respect for the elders) but I'm kinda lost on the rules. If anyone could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Favourite K-Pop Group? Well me and my friends are arguing about the best K-Pop group out there today. One of my friends is with 2NE1, another with Super Junior, I'm with SNSD, and the last one supports SHINee. So...vote away to your favourite. I apologize that I didn't include the rest; it's just between these 4 groups. Though, if you'd like to make recommendations, I'm all ears. Edit: Ok...I regret not adding BigBang now :~( On the plus side, their latest MVs were awesome <3

Physics Help. Asap Hi everyone. I need some help with some physics. Im new to this, we just started a few days ago and this is my first year taking physics. So we did an experiment last week and i need to do a write up. It wasnt really an expermiment, more observations. :P. So we had a car at rest then pushed it down the ramp and it started to speed up until it got off the ramp and hit the wall. My question is, does the car undergo UNIFORM ACCELERATION why or why not? p.s. the car is moving down an inclined plane. we just let hte car go so there was no force being applied to it from us, i think. Sorry for the grammar and spelling, it's kinda urgent :( Thanks

How Accurate Is Science? Salutations everyone! How is basil today? :D Alright enough of that, I need some help on this so I'm turning over to basil. Before I start; this is about evolution. The earliest ancestors of mankind, to australopithecus afarensis, homo habilis, homo erectus, and homo sapien sapien i.e us. For the purpose of this, the theory of evolution is being written about so I would prefer if Religious and Atheists do not start arguments over whether or not this is true. For the purpose of this thread it is; if you have any quarrels, this is not the place to voice them, sorry. That being said, I would appreciate it if someone could help me with this. The question given to us to construct an essay on is "Can science accurate
