College Admisions/ Applications?

Hey Basil.I got an early decision (ED) answer for a school back and I got deferred. Kinda stole away the thunder I had going for me this year. If you don't mind, could you help me collect some info on college admissions/ applications?

I'd really appreciate it if you could help me compile some data on:
Standardized testing scores (your SAT, ACT, SATII scores)
GPA
Extracurriculars and leadership positions
Ethnicity... (=/)

If you got your ED/EA answers back, I'd like it if you could post those too.

If you don't wanna post this stuff, it's cool. Maybe you could post what school you want to go to, or your list of schools, just to see where everyone wants to go.

I go to Northwestern. I got wait-listed at WashU and Carleton. I got accepted to Grinnell and all my safety schools. Only place that flat out rejected me was Stanford, not surprisingly. I'm a sophomore now and from my understanding admissions standards are getting even higher... Anyway I had a 3.8/4 unweighted and a 5.2/5 weighted (don't ask). I took a total of 7 AP classes in high school and was the co-president of the environmental club, which was my only volunteer experience. I was also involved in sports and music. Yeah...

I got accepted by MIT

My stats:

SAT: 2340
ACT: 35
GPA: 4.8 / 4.8
Class Rank: 1/980
Ethinicity: Asian (duh) Sri Lankan
Extracurricular Activities: Varsity football team captain, Senior student body president, president of the "recruiters" (our school needs recruitting), secretary of key club, vice president of NHS, made an airplane that went into near space as a junior in HS, tons of internships including one with the CIA, 1000+ hours of volunteering.

However, I will not be attending MIT next fall since I was accepted by Stanford university with a full ride through a program called Questbridge

So anyway..I wish you all the best in the future [/quote]

If you're not lying, I envy you. Stanford has been my dream school since the day I was born.
Anywyas, congrats! You should be the happiest soul alive right now!

Oh MIT! Do you know which dorm you'll be in yet? I guess it's a bit too early to find out ._.
