What kind of droid should I get? I've never had a smart phone. Just turned 20 and since I'm kind of entering the real world now I figure it might be practical to get one. Things I care about: long battery life (wishful thinking with a smart phone I know) good user interface (not too worried about that with droids) durability - I plan on keeping it for a long time I really don't care for most of the fancy gadgets and trinkets that come with it. I mostly just want internet access (mostly for maps, google, email, facebook, etc). And being able to see text conversations instead of individual texts on my flip phone will be nice =P but anyway. suggestions please? I'm thinking of getting some sort of HTC but I really don't know anything about smar

Help Date ideas? So... I dated this boy for a little over a year and a half. We broke up about a month ago due to life circumstances pushing us in separate ways, but I think we can fight through the setbacks. I'm fighting really hard to get back together and I really want to change the way that things were before and start over anew. One of the problems that I want to fix is devoting more time for each other - we fell into a habit of just hanging out and doing nothing, which is really nice, but after a while it didn't feel relationship-y enough. Sooo I want things to feel more like a relationship than the friendship sort of thing that it was turning into and I hope to achieve this by going out more. What are some date ideas? What do you guy

Anyone good with computers? I need help So, when we were dating, my ex-boyfriend put this hex on my laptop so that every time it boots up, this window in the command-prompt-like-thing comes up telling me that I am loved. We broke up two weeks ago and I'm trying to get rid of the reminders. Took the pictures down, put the gifts away, all that stuff. But I can't figure out how to stop this window from appearing. I want to start moving on. Can anyone help me get rid of this? In case I did a poor job describing it (which I probably did, since I can't seem to find help through google), this is what it looks like when I boot my computer: And then when I press a key, of course it goes away. But I don't want this thing to come up at all. Plus the c

Single for the first time in college I'm near the end of my second year of college. I've been dating the same guy since the summer before college and we broke up last weekend. This week has been really tough for me but I think everything will be okay. I'm definitely NOT looking for a relationship, or even to hook up, but it will be nice just to have the single's mentality, to be able to flirt and slowly try to get over my past boyfriend. to get some attention and to boost my confidence and take things lightly. I'm being very optimistic and sort of insincere about this whole thing right now, but actually the past week has been heart-wrenching. I'll post the details as I told one of my friends: Friend: no, i dont think you talked to me about

Is it possible to have feelings for more than one person? I'm not in conflict about this, I'd just like to hear opinions. I saw some comments on an advice thread that worked me up so now I'd like to have a discussion! Do you think it's possible to have feelings for more than one person at the same time? If so, do you think it is morally acceptable, especially if you are in a relationship? Thoughts please ^^ I think it is both possible and morally okay, as long as you don't let those feelings interfere with anything in your current relationship! If they do interfere, then you just need to be decisive, or you lose everything anyway.

My boyfriend won my heart by being a creep For all of you who like to discourage people, I have a little story about why it's important not to get discouraged! Disclaimer: If a girl is blatantly turning you down and you do not know her very well to begin with then yeah maybe it's best not to be pushy because that does get creepy So anyway, it was the summer after my senior year of high school. I was lookin to get myself a man for the summer. There were two or three boys I was interested in. Meanwhile this friend of mine (the ex-bf of my ex-best friend who I happened to be friendly with) was very adamant about hanging out with me throughout the summer. We didn't have many overlapping friends and we were both night owls so I hung out with him

Guys - opinion on gf hanging out with guy friends? What goes through your head when your gf is out with a group of guys or becomes really good friends with a guy that she met since you guys started dating? Would you be ok with her going out (like to bars) with other guys, having co-ed sleepovers, or living with other guys (like in an apartment). These types of scenarios probably don't apply to most of you because you're too young but yeh. Sometimes I feel like I'm a bad girlfriend because I hang around with a lot of other guys even though I know it makes my guy uneasy. It's not like he ever asks me not to but he has made it explicit that he doesn't like it (also made it explicit that he wouldn't stop me). I know it's reasonable for me to be

Whats your major/minor? All of these college threads popping up everywhere... Well what are you studying? I've declared a double major in statistics and economics. I am undeclared but pursuing a minor in environmental politics and change and also possibly computer science. Finally I'm going to apply for a graduate-level business certificate when I am a junior next year, but I doubt I will be accepted into the program. Usually you're not allowed to have more than 3 majors/minors but I have enough room in my schedule to double major and minor and get the certificate AND study abroad >.< Thank goodness I did well on my AP exams - got me out of I think 11 classes (6 language, 2 math, 1 stats, 2 econ)
