Some BaM bossing questions

In an effort to decide whether to main a BaM or MM, I have a few questions about BaMs.

How is their survivability against bosses, especially ones that do % hp damage? (Does party shield help, in practice?)
How much additional utility do they have in party situations against bosses besides weakening/dark aura? (Is the dispel on blue aura useful? Is the drain on red aura useful? How helpful is party shield?)
Can they boss w/o dying too much with relative ease, given an average amount of ping/latency and manual potting (especially against CRA sans CVellum)?
How difficult will it be to maintain max or close to max dps under those conditions?
About how much funding would I need to solo hard gollux?

Feel free to answer these questions for MMs as well, except for the one about additional utility (unless I'm mistaken, SE is the only to a party that an MM provides).

everyone is doing hard gollux so easily with 500k range..... i have almost 800k with dojo gloves and i die quite a bit because of minions and the control reverse (mostly from the control reverse its glitches like crazy for me)
the only boss i use red aura for is normal and hard magnus- as long as your not 1 shot by falling orbs you can easily out heal magnus damage , ark is a piece of cake just place down party shield and keep attacking him- his 1 shot att cant kill you through the shield- but its just annoying since he gets like 5-7 seconds of invincibility while he cast that skill.- For survivability i rate bam 10/10

utility in parties is pretty up there, start off with weakening aura and debuff the boss(stays on the boss till you die) then switch to whichever aura is most useful for the party, generally yellow or dark aura- and use party shield to block 1hit k/o skills. so for party aspect 7.5/10 side note, ive honestly never used blue aura so cant answer that question, and red aura was answered in above

what is this dying you speak of? the only time i die is at gollux if i dont kill minions..(dam winions)- but we dont really die... it actually really hard to die as a bam lol- survivability 10/10

maintaining max dps is difficult (for me at least) in dojo i dont even bother trying to tele cast since i like pinning monsters to the corner instead of keeping them in the middle, every other boss its pretty easy to maintain max dps, just watch out for bosses that can use dr really quickly- ive killed myself a few times teleing away from them (would be nice if tele attacks didnt trigger dr) 8/10 for maintaining dps - side note u can use dark charge or chains to keep the proc on bosses in dojo that you would get if u tele cast

i find hard gollux annoying with 750-800k range mostly because of minions and his skill reverse- i wish it was easier to see when im afflicted with it because i teleport into skills that kill me not knowing i was reversed, other than that hard gollux is pretty easy-

Terrible, not a great range of attacks to use (pretty much only 1), a lot weaker than before, less mobile, more noticeable skill delays, cast delay... always had good survivability however I now prefer a more offensive class.

-Survivability is high based off their passive max hp boosts. Party shield DOES tank you from 100% hp atks like magnus and cvellum tails. Strategically placing party shield can maintain survival.
-Weakening is a useful boss debuff, while dark will mainly be used among low lvls/range. Red aura is useful in bosses with long potion cd like gollux and empress. Blue aura is ok if u dont have 100% status resist. Their yellow aura appears to break the speed cap so I find it useful against bosses that don't cut your hp in half.
-With the removal of body boost, we do manually pot unless u have red aura active which is quite fast (for now). I can tank queen's breath but i still have problem's with the heart phase by spamming the potion button. Their mobility is much higher with the revamp and they are efficient with good control.
-Maintaining high dps... Battle Mages make optimal dps through telecasting vertically or horizontally with dark shock and casting finishing blow at the same time. The problem is based on your location or the server in general, your telecasting will fail and destroy your rhythm. Horizontal telecasting is difficult and is forced in dojo where you are not allowed to tele cast upwards.
While telecasting can save me 7 seconds on the last boss in dojo in comparison to just using finishing blow, failing a telecast can cost me 5 extra seconds in comparison to just using FB.
(and KMS nerfed us in a future patch because players have great connection and control over in Korea)
-Funding for gollux around 500k while using debuff aura.
->Battle Mages are good tankers, in relative terms (to mages). Party shield alone doesn't help with %HP damage I believe, but there's a hyper passive that reduces them by 10%.
->The drain is quite fast, but I haven't really had to switch to it (or the blue one either) or played in party, so I can't say.
->I've only done basic bosses like Normal Gollux and Easy Magnus but I only have to occasionally pot. And if you do run low on hp, you can switch to drain for a few seconds. It takes a bit of control I guess
-> uhhhhh
->To do it within 10minutes, I'd give it around 400-500k range.

I couldn't help much but here's what I know
Both the skill itself and the hyper say that they decrease damage taken from fixed damage skills by 10%, so I think it makes you take 0.8x the damage of hp% attacks.
