Some BaM bossing questions In an effort to decide whether to main a BaM or MM, I have a few questions about BaMs. How is their survivability against bosses, especially ones that do % hp damage? (Does party shield help, in practice?) How much additional utility do they have in party situations against bosses besides weakening/dark aura? (Is the dispel on blue aura useful? Is the drain on red aura useful? How helpful is party shield?) Can they boss w/o dying too much with relative ease, given an average amount of ping/latency and manual potting (especially against CRA sans CVellum)? How difficult will it be to maintain max or close to max dps under those conditions? About how much funding would I need to solo hard gollux? Feel free to answer

(Does arrow illusion or aggresive reinforce help? Does pain killer's active sufficiently compensate for their low status resistance?) Can they boss w/o dying too much with relative ease, given an average amount of ping/latency and manual potting (especially against CRA sans CVellum)? About how much funding would I need to solo hard gollux? Feel free to answer these questions for BaMs as well.
Inkwell sells troll books Has anyone else gotten a whole buttload of Infernal Concussion books from Inkwell's DS books? I think a good 70% of the books I've gotten are Infernal Concussion books. I also failed 2 Barricade Mastery 20s and 2 Demon Impact 20s. T.T
Very Annoying Problem After the Mutiny patch, there have been multiple times in which I was able to chat, but not do anything else. I couldn't use skills, couldn't use items, couldn't change channels, couldn't enter portals, etc. The only solution I've found for this is by re-logging. I've confirmed it's not a big lag spike or anything because I'm still able to chat with friends/guildies just fine. Problem is, I can't go on boss runs or lv 120+ PQs anymore because if this happens while I'm bossing/PQing, I get totally screwed. Help please!
Wolf Underling Familiar Hey guys, I've been hunting wolf underlings to try to get the familiar, but after 15 mins of hunting, I still haven't gotten one. Have any of you gotten wolf underling familiars, and if so, how long did it take to get them? 4th Job Skill Build? Hey guys, so I'm an aran who uses final toss almost exclusively right now. Right now I've got High Mastery, Freeze Standing, High Defense, Sudden Strike, and Advanced Final Attack all maxed, with 15 points left over. Should I max Overswing/Final Blow now or should I max Combo Barrier or MW first?
Less dmg with stolen skill? Ok, so I stole a lv 20 Cold Beam to kill King Pepe with. However, Cold Beam is hitting lower than Calling Card, even though they're both 170% per hit. Why is this happening? Edit: Wait...Does King Pepe resist ice? Hidden-street says no, but it might be wrong.

Alliance quest prerequisites? According to nexon's website, you need to complete Neinheart's Gratidude to do the allince quest chain. II can't find where to start the quest. I went to Ereve to talk to Neinheart, but he didn't have a quest for me. Anyone know how to start it? I am above lv 75, btw.
2x drop for a 2 months In the patch notes, there was this: 2x Drop 12.08.2011 - 01.31.2012 All day I hope there is 2x drop, cuz I'm going peridot hunting. However, I killed a red kentaurus just now, and it only dropped 884 mesos. That's not 2x drop money. Is 2x drop not working for anyone else?

lv 100 WA training Hey, I'm rather poor, so I can't just pq my way to 120. Also, i'd rather train on monsters that are in the Crusader Codex, because these monsters drop equips, which will help me make more money and feed my tree. Also, I have bad damage. Keeping these things in mind, where should I train.

PQs and exp bonuses I know that before ascension, exp buffs didn't apply to pq exp. However, since Ascension revamped the pqs, is it possible that things like the Pendant of the Spirit could be used to boost pq exp too?
Is avoid useful now? I'd prefer answers from people who don't have smokescreen or other avoid-rate-enhancing skills. I'm talking about the avoidability stat. Back before BB, a lv 100ish thief could afk in HHG1 in mosnter territory, skillfully avoiding all attacks. By big bang, avoid was made much less effective. My question is whether that has changed in Chaos? Also, how helpful do you think a 160 avoidability boost would be?
