Pretty sure for question c you need the r squared value and the coefficient.

The % of variation thing is found using r^2.
b) what is indicated by the fact that correlation is negative?
As latitude increases, temperature decreases.
As x increases, y decreases.
c) the latitude of Denver is 40 degrees N. Predict the mean January temperature (degrees Fahrenheit there)
I don't really understand the data, and I don't exactly recall the formula for the line equation using mean and standard deviation. I took statistics last year.
