Just how important is % int?

Im currently lv132 and I have the range of a lv115.
Im thinking this is because of % int, but Ive read some threads and people are saying all sorts of things, such as % int doesnt matter as much as MaTk.
I have a 133 atk staff and no % int so will getting myself some % int equips raise my range or will MaTk be a better choice?

I'd suggest getting 3% INT on every equip, each costing between 7-15m.
Don't sacrifice equips that get easy magic attack though, such as earrings.

What you want is a good combination of the two, although it tends to be very expensive.

Assuming that you are not well funded, from seeing your range and posts in the I/L section, your options will be slightly limited from acquiring mid to high end potential items. The most cost effective way to get as much easy % Int as possible is to hunt for or buy for cheap items, 2 or 3 lines depending on your preference and budget, with 3% Int on them. Try to get at least 2%-3% Int on all of your equips. Earrings are an easy source of cheap magic attack, as you can hunt for potential earrings and scroll them with 60% or 30% scroll, depending on preference and budget. Belts can also be a source of magic attack, but usually can be costly. The best source of your damage is always your weapon. However, % Int is of equal importance as with magic attack. It's just that low amounts of magic attack are cheap to get, while % Int becomes very expensive in the long run as you reach Epic and Unique potential items. Magic attack becomes expensive when you are looking for well scrolled wands/staves, high end scrolled and potential earrings, and high end scrolled and potential belts.
