Do archmages tend to die a lot? I/l ?
What is the survivability like for archmages, specifically I/L? Just came back to Maple seeing as how a lot of classes just got revamped after red, and I am currently debating between NL and I/L mage. So I have a couple of questions:
- Do I/ls tend to burn a lot of pots while training/bossing? What is their survivability like?
- Are they decent bossers? How about training-wise?
Thanks

I think so, I was on my I/L Arch Mage just for fun and my MP and HP was training so freakin' fast.
My first thoughts reading the title:ice/ice mages
never died when i had a ice mage, but i turned it into a bishop now

I die a lot at Gollux because I lag like a mf
Is survivability good? Ask the 85% HP ~> MP from Magic Guard. And the passive defense from Magic Armour. And the 20% damage reduction later. And all that other stuff like freezing monsters.
Are they decent bossers? Kinda sorta. It's easy to get a high damage later from spamming frozen orb then Chain Lightning (For the x5 ice stack, ignoring 15% of the boss' defense, giving another 15% crit, and 15% crit damage).
Training-wise it's probably the best class in the game. Chain Lightning goes e'erywhere, dealing massive damages!
