Came back after 10 month break.Extremely confused

Hey guys,
I know this is an odd question but I just came back from about a 10 month break and I am extremely confused at what I am seeing now.
I used an up to date guide (ended up maxing every skill in the tree) and my Paladin has become a lot weaker than it was before I left.
Did we get nerfed again or am I missing something? I am level 162. The skill dynamics confuse me now since charges are their own attacks now.
What is the best method of maximizing damage output?

Void charge is essentially an actual charge like the old days. (use elements to increase %dmg) It gives you 30% dmg.

Blast buff works like this: (example is on mobs and using best combination for mobbing)
1.) Alternate Lightning and Holy until you reach FIVE stacks.
2.) Use blast on any mob, just get it out fast.
3.) After using blast alternate on mobs until you have five stacks. Then continue using whatever skill you need to kill mobs fastest. If you can one shoe with holy I recommend using it. (it has highest mob strike count, but a bit less dmg than lighting)
4.) Watch your blast buff as it lasts 40 seconds. Once it's out (it gives 40% dmg (all skills), 40% crit to blast, and 30% pdr)and repeat the cycle when it runs out.
Do remember that if you stacked five charges (to increase dmg after they disappear) when blast buff is activated you can simply just blast right after it runs out. Then stack again and wait.

For bosses you just alternate between Ice and Lightning. (Ice first ofc)

Once your Advanced Charge has 5 stacks, use Blast and you'll gain the buff and your Advanced Charge stack would reset.
I saw some cheap Sweet water Mauls (Blunt 2H), lv160 items and they seem to currently be one of the best weapons for Paladins

You forgot to use Void Elemental as a skill, 2h > 1h would be superior in your case, and try to get 6% tempest belt shoulder and necklace if that HTP doesn't have %str, a heart would be also ideal, but kinda pricey for your mesos, and try to perfect a wep, your range would skyrocket if you had a perfected wep. Also do Ralph's quests at boat quay town for a pottable badge.

You don't have blast buff active, which should almost double your range once you restack charges. (You also don't have booster active, though that shouldn't effect range). Emblems can be gained through the new explorer quest chain. There is silver tier 2 potential and a gold tier 3 potential. Androids (and the hearts for them) are gained through weaponsmithing, but if you have a few bil mesos you can buy a 63atk 15stat beryl heart at the FM. there are weaker ones for cheaper as well. Try getting ahold of a gollux item set as well. There are 4 different levels (cracked/solid/reinforced/superior). cracked and solid should be fairly easy to get and scroll.

I know, i'm trying to figure out what I can do. ._. There is so much new equipment not sure where to go equipment wise.
An Emblem? How do I get those? And same goes for Android

OP 9999 def.

But you lack of android and Emblem..

btw you range is so low for your level and "nice looking" funding.

Extremely weird, my Paladin is unfunded, at 130 and has a pretty good 31k range buffed when every buff is active (including the charges+blast buff).

Something is wrong, check your equipment and/or skill levels, anything tbh
ALright. I will just have to play around more.
I am just curious why my damage went down so much. My range right now buffed is 19k~24k at 162. (not sure how low that is nowadays). It use to be a lot higher.
You more than likely did in fact get hacked, like the poster above me stated. Since paladins had no real range boosting passive skills (other than the 10 attack added to shield mastery) there would be no difference to your range from big-bang up until RED was released a month ago un-buffed anyways.

The only other thing I can think of is that you quit sometime after hypers were released and you haven't re-allocated your stats back into it. (they were reset some time ago... maybe a couple times since you were gone)

Basically the recap you shouldn't have a lower range unless you are missing link skills, equips, cards/card-sets, and hypers you had prior to quitting.
We got massively buffed in RED to the point our old damage is just feeble in comparison. We literally are bossing gods now.
So make sure to check your links, and card decks, and hypers. (also try to remember if you sold equips or if you even have all your equips)

How do I stack charges now?

Stack up 5 charges. Use Blast. Stack up 5 charges again and then proceed to either use Blast on bosses or Lightning Charge on mobs. Make sure the first 3 steps involved had mobs that were hit or it won't count. Then repeat from the Blast phase every 45 seconds.

For 1v1, stack your Charges and then spam Blast for a neat Buff.

I think Lightning Charge is best for mobbing at the moment, but I'm not 100% sure on that.
