Defensive mobile class? Atm I'm heavily playing my Blaze wizard and I do enjoy the gameplay of it. Not to mention the strength! However, I would rather play another mobile class that is more defensive (tanky) that uses HP pots rather than Mana pots-- a mobile tanky warrior/pirate? And a class with some sort of self-sustaining skill would be a bonus, whether it be a heal or whatnot. No Bishop since I already have that class. I really am interested in a Paladin, but I'm not sure how the mobility of it is (I understand it has a flash jump skill, however I've never played warriors so I don't know how mobile it is compared to the Cygnus flash jump).
Evolving System not working? When I go into the Evolving System, I end up in Hidden Street: Evolution Lab where ESS is the only NPC in the room and says "Welcome to the Evolution System". No further quests, or portals (other than to go out). Not sure how to fix this problem. :(
Nova or Scania? I plan to play Maplestory casually again and I mostly go online for the social aspect. All my current better characters are on Nova and I suppose I have around ~200m in funding in that world. The main thing is though I have a ton of level100 characters on it, so it is useful for link skills and Blessing. The thing I am irritated by is how dead Nova is (even during the day). I mean the peak amount of users in Nova seems like the lowest amount Scania could ever have (and I've never experienced lagging, not even during GM events, so that shouldn't be a problem for me). I do plan to make a new Blaze Wizard and I plan to join a very crowded server, Scania. This is mainly because I have a few friends there already that's why, but
New Years Coin Shop Npc Is there another one besides the one in Event hall? Waay too laggy/strenuous for my computer for some reason. ):
Quests outdated Are the Evan quests outdated? Whenever I get the option to do them, they end up being really annoying collect quests for mobs waay underleveled.
Making mesos without merching? I'm new in Windia and I really want to find a way to make mesos alongside training and such. I'm not exactly the best merchant for things like scrolled equips and such, so that is out of the question (although when I find good items I will try to sell them no doubt). I'm not asking for the fastest way to make mesos which is obviously merching, but rather little tips to help make mesos especially when starting in a world with hardly any. (ex. any specific monster I could go to that drops something particularly good.) Thanks!
Best way to make friends? What would you guys say is the best way to make new friends on Maplestory? I am on Nova (Novacan to be precise) and I really want to make active friends. Sure I may not have the best equips to go bossing and such, but it is nice to just not train/do stuff for a while and just talk to people. Besides the new chat feature, since it already is dead... :|
Lack of Aoe Does this bother anyone when training? Marksman look interesting to play, except being a previous mage-master, I was used to the privilege of attacking in all directions and hitting 2-3 platforms, but marksman seem to be just forward. Just a quirk I hope doesn't make gameplay unpleasant/slow.
Looking for the right Explorer class With decent speed-- in both mobility and attack rate-- and a lot of support/passive skills as well as debuffs for enemies, what would you guys recommend? (Besides Paladin.) When I say support skills, I do not necessarily mean for the party, but if it is for myself it counts too. And I love debuffs in general. Vanille as a Saboteur was definitely my favorite FFXIII character! I'm training my Bishop right now, but I want to create something else that actually is higher risk and higher reward too because my bishop seems waay too easy (not having to use pots ever). I mean I love the amount of support skills Bishop has, not only for the party, but also for myself. I also am appreciative of skills like Holy Ma
Winning Kite Runner From my understanding, I win a game of Kite Runner and I get 1 coin. I lose a game of Kite Runner and I still get 1 coin. So the only prize difference is the gift bag? Seems pretty stale.
Dragon Equips found on Zero Does anyone know if they are of any worth? Like the level110 Dragon weapons, w/ hidden potential? Or do you guys just NPC them? Sorry for so many questions, it has been a while since I was last playing Maplestory.
Choosing Smith/Accessory for your main Is not choosing Alchemy that bad? My main is a master in Smithing and I don't really want to reset my profession. Not to mention buying and finding all the alchemy recipes I will need to. I want your guy's opinions (especially if you have a long-time main).
Pinky Hula Hoops What do you guys do with them?
Monster level and name I haven't been on in a few months, but for some reason now when I attack monsters the name and level of the monster does not show like it did before. I went to settings and the Show Monster Info box is checked, but when I attack monsters it does not show the name. It shows the lvl/name for some special monsters like Event ones (like Glowing Ghost), but not on monsters like the regular mobs I train on. Help? >_<
Mp Boost- How does it work? I was wondering if the MP Boost skill for mages (the new one that came with Red: First Impact) matters whether or not you max it first or last. Mainly for the "MP Increases __ per level". I'm guessing it doesn't matter because it states "Also increases MP proportional to your level" so when you level up the skill it would give the small bits of MP you would've gotten anyways if you would've leveled it up earlier. I however want some other opinions and if anyone can actually confirm this dilemma.
you know Wild Hunters are extinct ... when you see a Snow White/Jaira spawn in every channel of the habitat.
