What to upgrade without any Nx
I've thought about doing this for a while, and I finally decided to.
Greetings, strangers. I have a dilema for you to ponder.
Over the past 4 or so months, I've been slowly upgrading my equips with slightly better %int and such, which means I was constantly throwing out older equips. Lately, I've been trying to abstain from constantly buying things and do more saving for a more substantial purchase. I'm realizing how difficult it is to actually find mage equips that are reasonably priced. Right now, it seems like anything I could buy would be only a small boost in damage, while costing a few hundred mils. (which takes weeks to obtain)
Here's what I have, only stating INT:
2% +10 helm. 5 matt face. 1% +6 eyes. 3% +7 overall. 3% +7 cape. 4%, +7, 5 matt gloves. 5% +3 belt. MoN. 6% shoes. 3% +1 shield. 6%, 5 matt earrings. +6, 5? matt shoulders. Codex is +6, 1%, 15% pdr. Staff is 142 matt.
Buying empress mage equips would only be possible if I bought them clean. They would be only slightly-to-moderately better than my cheap % stuff, while costing multitudes more money. Besides that, cubes aren't an option, so I'd be stuck with whatever potential reveals, if I even buy them potential'd.
The only things I can think of that are probably within my reach would be a 6% hat, 6% overall (probably from monster park drops), and 9-10% earrings.
Empress gear seems like a waste of money right now, and buying something that has over 10% int seems quite out of the question, since the prices get so entirely ridiculous. Right now I have about 120 million. What can I upgrade that would be in the range of 500m or less?

I was really referring to the massive server merge involving Galicia, but thanks. A little update would be that I just finished Neo City and got 3% all stats on the laurels. I'll be looking into a new earring/cape/empress gloves, overall, etc.

Well, the fact that MTS and world transfer was removed, i'm assuming your servers might not be getting as much influx of empress gear as before.
If i'm not totally wrong, price will probably rise, thus giving another reason why to purchase the set now ;/

@Mystalteinn I don't know about your world, but a clean empress mage overall or hat is at least 200m here. Is it possible that a continued rise in the demand of these equips would drive the prices down?

At this point it would also be good to go to Neo City for the new hat that gives +10 all, is third tier (I think), and comes out epic. Plus you can get that scroll that gives it +atk. Or just go to Scarga.

Zak helm?.....Lvl 50 2nd tier potential. That's just....bad.
If you're gonna farm helm for pots, you'd rather get a czak (If you can effectively kill him), or just do some monster park.
Regular zak's not worth it.
If you decide against the Empress gear, I would highly suggest Zakking every day and searching for a good potential helm. I don't know how pricy they are in your world. :
But yeah, Empress is probably the best option for you right now.
Even if you think Empress gear seems like a waste of money, clean empress gear normally easily outweights any 3-6% gear (If you get at least 4 pieces), just from the innate stats and the set bonus. And since it's endgame material, you can take your time and upgrade it later. Nothing will ever come close to it, and if you take the time to bother with 3-6% equips, if you ever become more fortunate or decide to upgrade, you'll be stuck selling and purchasing new items.
Only downside with empress is the fact that once you equip them, you need to PSOK them to re-sell. But if you're like me and only main 1 character, this part won't matter much.
Buy 12% Int earrings for 250mil.
