The second time I beat it but I felt really bad because I had 300 dollars and could have helped me son go to field trips and do sports
That game is stupid. All the spending that came up are way above average. And no way, does all that happened in a month - more times = more saving. And I made it through with $392 left, but they try to make it seems like you still lose because rent is due tomorrow. But.....pay day is tomorrow too! Stupid game that bear no resemblance to reality.

No pity for single mom - most of them are in those situation due to their own irresponsibility.

FYI, idiot who think JUST going to college and they will end up with more monies are dumb. You're just setting yourself up for failure if that's the only reason college is for you. Proof? All the idiots that have no job right now. Lol.
What was "way above average"? It seemed pretty accurate, if you're going to make assertions then give specifics.

You've clearly never lived by yourself or supported yourself if you think all that doesn't happen in a month. You're probably a spoiled suburban kid who is ignorant of the realities of the world.

Ran out of money on day 19.
I could have not paid for my mother, but I mean, why would I do that?
I feel terrible now.

I don't know, sometimes the game made me pay for stuff I didn't really need.
I highly doubt a person is able to do that without any consequenses, such as mental illness, because of the stress
second, college takes ALOT time, ALOT of effort and ALOT of money wich you dont have and by going there you're risking having even more debts
than before you were in college.

So i totally disagree with you.
Hes being sarcastic.
that was a really intuitive way to offer perspective into a situation that would otherwise be difficult to comprehend for middle-class white american males (saying that, the people who most need to draw something from a resource like this probably wouldn't be open/empathetic enough to "get it" anyway)

i survived the month with $102 fyi, pretty scary and i made some horrible choices in retrospect
yea, i was trying to get at that by posting this, but obviously not a lot of people got it
it stressed me out a tiny bit even though it was hypothetical
