R.i.p Long hair, thank you for the wonderful 10 years
Hey there. I want to dedicate this thread to my hair, which I grew with passion and love and took really good care of it.
You might wonder why I put the R.I.P in my thread title.
The reason is, I'm getting dreadlocks tomorrow. Why? I felt it was time for a change, but I didn't want to cut my hair just yet. I also didn't want to lose my personality by being different from other guys, and also I really admired how dreadlocks looked like. Also some people always said to me that dreadlocks would look great on me.
Well, why did I put the R.I.P if I'm not cutting my hair yet? The reason is, that these dreadlocks will be pretty much permanent (If I opened them, my hair would be in a pretty mad condition it wouldn't really be smart keeping them like that), so I'd have to cut them off after losing interest in them or going to the army.
I hope the dreadlocks will be worth the pain and the long process. Most people told me that it's a great idea and also they can imagine me with them, but some people thought that "Oh no, you can't do that, your hair is perfect like that!". About 100% of the guys said that they would be sick and awesome, and 90% of the girls thought so too. The remaining 10% were the ones who thought my hair was perfect like this.

At those people who say he looks ugly with the dreads; Have you tried getting dreads yourself? If not, do you expect people to look like Bob Marley after the first few minutes when the dreads are done? You gotta wait until your hair calms down, take care of it well and stuff like that. Seriously... People these days ._.

Yeah, they are pretty uhm, pointy, right now, but they'll flatten up in a while.
They don't look the best right now, but in a month they will.

I don´t get why people come in this thread to tell him he´s ugly or look like a girl.

Eh, not my cup of tea. That's a lot of upkeep and dreads probably smell rank.

Dreads will be weird (or at least it will seem weird at first since it's so different), but at least you won't look like the opposite gender!

My hair was longer than yours actually, reaches near the bottom of my back.
Last week I cut it off up to a little above my shoulders.

In the first picture, you looked like a ten year old girl. In the last picture, you looked like a thirteen year old guy. Get a buzz, dreadlocks will make you look dumb.
