Why did you make your BaM?
Tbh, i chose a BaM cuz i thought they were a ranged class at first (lol), i didn't read update notes from KMS at that time. But then when I was around my 4th job, people call me hacker at lhc or when im farming gold teeth with miner zombies. So eventually, i wanna show ppl that some BaMs play the game like it should be.

Because I love mage/healer-type characters in all games that I play, so I wanted my first character to be one that I would really like. The Resistance Branch intrigued me so that was probably a large factor as well.
I had a DB that was just too squishy, so I quit and since I had only played that DB and only Mage classes, a BaM seemed like the golden ticket
Truth be told I was looking for a new mage to play. I was discouraged pre-bb with the exp levelling system at the time, and I never had a character over 70. I had decided on trying something a little new for maple to keep me interested, so I was at the right time to choose a battlemage.

I always enjoyed making melee classes, but hated the lack of mobility (this is before warriors got that mini flash jump skill). So i figured, a Bam is essentially a warrior class that uses magic attack, and has tele. And indeed it did, and became very appealing to me. Not to forgot, the auras are so awesome.

They were new, they had magic, and they were melee. What more could I want?
