Should I ask her out?
Okay, so at a party recently this girl was very drunk and she came on to me quite heavily. She kept on saying how I could do miles better than my ex, and when I asked her whether she was alright she replied with suggestive things like "why don't you inspect my health for me?". She then also said a few times how sexy I am (unusual for me lol)... But she was very very drunk at this point. I didn't do anything at the party because I didn't want to take advantage of her while she was in that state.
I then talked to her best friend a few days later and she referenced how I should ask her to a coffee sometime when she's sober and then talked about some ground rules to dating with her, but then said "I shouldn't get my hopes up and I should be level-headed about this all". I'm writing this out, and it seems kinda obvious to ask her out but I really need an opinion on whether I should go for it.

Ask her out. What's the worst that could happen besides rejection? If she doesn't want you, move on. You'll find another.
Maybe you should talk to her first while she's sober, that way you'll be able to get an idea of how she is normally. Then if you still think so, ask her out.

Yea, definitely. Another problem is that I have a lot of upcoming work with university applications for medicine etc, dunno whether to delay this or to completely forget about it. But I do think she's a nice person when sober and she is pretty.
@ above, things like "dont ever hurt her if you go out with her, and dont take her away from me", seems like a best-friend thing to say tbh. But this seems very suggestive as to her saying yes if I did ask her out.
