Post Red Guide

Hi guys. Would any of you be able to direct me to a post-RED I/L Guide? I've been looking for one for a while and I can't seem to find it.

Thanks.

There's really no reason to max freezing breath until you max everything else out. The CD increases, not decreases.

Both the Basil and Ayumi's are pretty bad, imo.

I would go:

100: 1 Chain Lightning (1), 1 Buff Mastery (1), 1 Elquines (1)
101: 1 Frozen Orb (1), 1 Arcane Aim (1), 1 Buff Mastery (2)
102-104: 8 Buff Mastery (maxed), 1 Chain Lightning (2)
105-114: 28 Chain Lightning (maxed), 2 Arcane Aim (3)
115-123: 27 Arcane Aim (maxed)
124-133: 29 Elquines (maxed), 1 Blizzard
134-143: 30 Infinity (maxed)
144-153: 30 Maple Warrior (maxed)
154-163: 29 Frozen Orb (maxed), 1 Blizzard (2)
164-172: 28 Blizzard (maxed), 2 Freezing Breath (2)
173-181: 28 Freezing Breath (maxed)
182-183: 5 Hero's Will (maxed) Note: if bossing, place earlier at either before maxing Blizzard (apparently glitched, see below) or before Freezing Breath.

Ayumi's guide overly prioritizes Blizzard. It is apparently currently glitched (it doesn't proc properly or Nexon intended it that way). Aside from casting it to proc FA, it's not that great of skill otherwise. It has a long cooldown and its otherwise main purpose is for map clearing (most people won't be able to do this in higher level maps since party play mobs tend to have high HP). Hero's Will is also maxed way too early. You probably won't be bossing yet at the point the guide tells you to max it. The 40% damage boost from AA is a much bigger damage boost than the 20% extra mastery Elquines gives.

The Basil guide went way overboard with Frozen Orb. First of all, your main places of training for early 4th job will most likely be Evo or MPE. Frozen Orb's main use is to gather 5 freeze counters which can effectively be gained by just putting one point into it. Blizzard does not proc Frozen Orb (I believe this was also intended in KMS). Also, your main mobbing and bossing move will be CL. Priority should be focused on maximizing damage for CL which doesn't seem to be the focus of the Basil guide. The monsters in evo world and MPE are not super hard to kill and with the 5 sec or higher CD (depending on the lag), it will be most likely you won't be able to cast Frozen Orb again on the respawned monsters. You will probably be end up spamming CL and still effectively killing monsters. The next main training spot will be DiPQ and the monsters here are not super hard. There are monsters with higher HP like the Obelisk shield that for lower funded people, Frozen Orb would be ideal to cast, but again, just one point should be enough to increase CL's damage which is your main damage source. For many people, they may find it detrimental to their DPS/DPM and really the only way to fix this is through hypers which you don't get until mid to late 4th job.

tl : dr don't max Frozen Orb until mid-late to the later part of 4th job

Usually it's for skill point distribution.
