Sao question
So like, there's only a couple days left to do this dungeon, and I currently have 8 coins left; this is my final amount (unless I win some more from the boxes).
I'm a bit concerned that I may not receive Black Swordsman before the time is up. This is mainly due to my horrible luck; my Gleam Eyes kill count is 11, Fatal Scythe is 10, and Skull Reaper is 2. If I have a sudden stroke of luck, I can get those last three kills on Skull Reaper with my two remaining coin attempts, assuming I don't win any more, plus the daily free entry tomorrow, towards the end of the event. But this is highly unlikely.
However, during one of my runs, I DCd the very moment I entered the dungeon. When I relogged, my coins weren't consumed. I also noticed that my coins were only consumed after I actually defeated the boss and exited from there.
So my question is this before I try anything risky: if I don't face the boss I'm looking for, would it be possible to quit and not consume coins, eventually forcing RNGesus to give me the boss I want?
Sorry if this has been asked before, I don't seem to play that much.

Thanks to extreme luck, I managed to get my Black Swordsman today. Thanks for all the help.
It would still consume coins if you disconnect in the dungeon. It happened to me once and it sends you to the reward map after logging back in.

it works. Just remember: it considers the time your screen fades to black for the boss, not the time you press up. Remember that when you're entering the boss and practice your timing in the maps prior to him.

No.
I tried something like that before, entering the boss stage then exit by logging off or closing maple (alt + f4). Upon logging back on, I was in the room where Asuna was and my coins were consumed.
