scientistB Looking for Spirit of Rock sprites So basically I need the blue Spirit of Rock's animation sprites for a little thing I'm working on. Real bummer that BannedStory's permanently down, and all downloads of it as well as alternatives only include character sprites for dress-up. I'm specifically looking for the sprites he has for his attack skills and whatnot, and right now I only have his static standing sprite. Spriter's Resource doesn't have them either, surprisingly. I feel like the only spritesheets left are probably on a few individuals' computers from back when BannedStory still worked. If anyone has any leads on where I can find these sprites, it'd be much appreciated.

scientistB Stuck at Heroes of Maple Act 1 I've had an issue with a point in the Heroes of Maple questline. In the part where Aran makes an appearance by bursting through the wall, you have to beat up all the demon soldiers in that map. So I do that, but then nothing happens. I saw a video and noticed that the quest is supposed to automatically continue for you. But that's not the case with me. I've tried numerous times to restart, relog, close the game, re-enter the quest, and still I am stuck there. Every enemy is always defeated, and then I get to sit there in the vacant map while nothing happens. No idea what to do there. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

scientistB Dragon Island Express Is that title you get for surviving 500 total days worth it? It seems incredibly amazing, but the bottom tooltip "Option duration: 30 days" doesn't look so nice. Does it only have a 30-day lifetime? If so, they sure worded it weird. If it is worth it, I can never survive more than a few days because food is far too scarce, makes it rather annoying to keep playing this minigame over and over :C

scientistB Need a few more Maple weapons My museum collection is almost complete, but the approaching deadline has me worried that I won't get all the weapons in time. I only have a few more left to get and I'm wondering if I can buy it off of any of you, if you have them. I need a Beryl Maple Manareaper, Onyx Maple Staff, Onyx Maple Scepter, Black Force Shield, and Black Orb. I don't have a ton of money, but I'll be willing to part with a good mil or two for each item here. scientistB Removing EXP Penalty Over Level 200 I probably shouldn't be asking this, but what if the EXP penalty for dying was no longer existent after level 200? The system is in place to prevent newer players from getting reckless, and it takes a lot of patience to reach level 200. But after that point, players should be worrying about their money and equipment instead. Dying at this point is a setback since most of us seem to be in boss runs where death kicks you out. My point is, I think losing EXP is too punishing at my level. Yes, even with a decent Ambition level. Every day I've just been dying and losing a whole night's worth of progress from training. It also doesn't help that my game crashed while I was in the Scrapyard and spawned me on a mo

scientistB What to do So I've been playing Maple for probably too many years. Lately my play pattern is to get real into it and make it a habit to play every day for a few weeks, give or take, and then give it a break for a while. A number of my old friends don't seem to play anymore, so for the most part I'm on my own at figuring out what to do at my level. When 2x started last weekend, my brother and I were like "Yo let's go to Stronghold," and uh... hm. Not only does the map require Star Force, all the enemies in the Stronghold are easy to kill but give less EXP, and no more party play zone apparently. scientistB Sao question So like, there's only a couple days left to do this dungeon, and I currently have 8 coins left; this is my final amount (unless I win some more from the boxes). I'm a bit concerned that I may not receive Black Swordsman before the time is up. This is mainly due to my horrible luck; my Gleam Eyes kill count is 11, Fatal Scythe is 10, and Skull Reaper is 2. If I have a sudden stroke of luck, I can get those last three kills on Skull Reaper with my two remaining coin attempts, assuming I don't win any more, plus the daily free entry tomorrow, towards the end of the event. scientistB My chair bag emptied A few moments ago at the time of writing this, I finished the 3rd week quest of Freud's Ring and got all the rewards. One of them was an eight-slot chair bag. I already had one of my own, but I noticed that mine had been closed, as if I had never opened it. But, I had been holding eight chairs in there for well over a year. Reluctantly I opened it... and my suspicions were right. All my chairs were gone. Just vanished. Like they were never there. I'm so bummed out over this. scientistB Stupid Freaking Downloader I need to rant. The gosh darn patch wouldn't work for no reason so I tried to use the manual patcher from the website, and it said that the file is corrupt or some crud like that. I try to install the game client but the very moment it started, it immediately said "An error occurred. Please try again." So I deleted all my MS files and started again. scientistB Decisions, Decisions I was reviewing the hot weekend notes just now, and I see that the first day will have the thunder breaker hat, the mount, and the medal. But, I made a thunder breaker last night because I really wanted him to be a major character (blue sharks FTW). So I wanted to get the thunder breaker hat for him, and the second day on my Evan, since I collect medals and there's also going to be one on the second day. Thing is, I wanna get the mount on my Evan too because I also collect mounts on that character, and wanted to make progress on the easy rider medal.
