Losing weight

I'm 16 years old weighing around 150 lbs couple days ago at 5"8. I have very high metabolism so I don't even look fat but all that food I eat is going to my stomach (kinda obvious but my arms and legs are skinny). 2 days ago I started to just eat 2 meals a day ; breakfast and dinner. I usually have a big omelette with 2 pieces of hashbrowns or whole grain bagel w/ butter which keeps me full until around 7 which is when I go eat dinner. I checked this morning and I was at 147 lbs. Is this a good way to lose weight? Eating a hefty breakfast and dinner only? This is only for march break, as soon as school starts again, I'll have to eat snacks after school because I have gym last period and it leaves me reallly hungry.
My eatings habits are bad and I just realized that I might be overweight (150lbs+).. I used to eat everytime im not full and overeat (i'd eat like 5 pizza in one sitting) so I was want to lose my belly fat and prob get some abs just to feel healthy (I am healthy btw, getting 100% on fitness tests except for beeptest/shuttlerun, getting 90% in that.)

what do you think?

Screw only lowering your body fat %
Start lifting and that's it. You will not only lose body fat % but you will gain real muscle

You need to eat more and start lifting. You're in your prime years for gaining muscle mass.

150lb is okay for a 5'8 male. Instead of trying to eat less maybe you should go work out. If you weigh around 140 you'd look like a stick and that's not attractive.

most my friends who work out are 150lbs, i dont work out . I don't really care about my weight I just want to lose my belly fat

You can just diet without exercising and lose weight if you eat little.
