Bonus pot vs primary pot

Which to cube first?

Item: 3rd unwelcome shield
pot: 12% matk, 9% dmg, 5% chance to ignored 40% def (3l legendary)

bonus pot: 10 int, 5 int, some waste line (3l rare)

For primary pot, I would like to get above 18% matk or 60% boss+ (or is this pot good enough?)
For bonus pot, I wanna get decent %matk

I use my nx for bonus potential's exclusively(on weapons and such). It's a waste of nx to cube main potential because when there are non-nx, farmable alternatives. You only really need bonus potentials on 3 items(armor bonus pot is superfluous imo). Once you get past that thresh-hold, and your nx well has run dry, you don't have to worry about bonus potentials for a while and you would have still made progress on your main potentials.

The answer should be to work on your bonus pot first. Your main pot is good as it is for now. You must space your funds properly.

You can cube LOTS of nx on main pot and get minimal benefits or none at all.
Or you can cube bonus pot and get unique/legendary and maybe 1-2 lines of %matk.

Bonus pot is more cost efficient.

The rule of thumb is: cube bonus pot if and only if you are going to keep that equip for end game.
That being said, after you get some decent bonus pot of like 1 line of %matk or something, use red cubes on your main pot.

There is no point in wasting black cubes to save a pot that you're going to get rid of. Red cube only.

Have fun.

Generally I don't cube bonus potential on weapons until I have 3 lines unique or 2 lines leg of % boss/att/pdr. Not only is it harder to get good lines on bonus potential, it also costs about twice as much per cube.

As far as armor goes, I just aim for 10+ att or 2-4% stat. There isn't much reward in getting legendary bonus potential on armor.
go fix primary. thats a really weak legendary pot imo with only 9% damage. plus it'll only take a few cubes.

your bonus pot is going to be really expensive because you have to rank up 3 tiers to legendary....
yeah, alright. I was planning on cubing bonus during miracle if you were wondering.

bonus is more expensive , so logic says fix main first
unless you sattle for what you have now , and then go bonus
