not since chaos it started going down hill when CK's came out every other class expect explorers are somewhat copies of explorers

usually had less hackers than now. cuz they have updated/more hacks and stuff.

I don't know why you all are such advocates of Wizet, there was a crapload of hacks when I joined in v19. Nexon is far worse, but remember that Wizet had flaws too.

I am so confused. Why is it when Wizit was running the show even though we had tons of hackers we didn't have any issues, now we have so many issues

I simply can't stress that enough. Wizet NEVER ran GMS, in fact they sold MapleStory to Nexon Korea about a year before GMS was EVEN MADE!

I agree with you though, it was much worse back then. Content sucked, and whatever little there was, was reserved entirely for the upper class Maplers. It wasn't fun at all.
Hell, even people that claim the community was better are deluded. There was an equal ratio of approximately 3:1 assholes in maplestory since day one.
The only thing is, when you have like 10,000x more players than you had when you started, chances are you're going to run into the bad people more.

heres an idea for everybody stop making these threads your not helping at all and y do u play the game if all u do is complain about the problems in the game. just imagine if u were in their position trying to take care of each and everybody little petty problems.

Because when Maple was young, it was programmed by Wizet and Nexon just simply bought it off their hands. As you notice, ever since Nexons team of coders started adding their own codes, ideas and etc. errrrr thing went down from there.

Actually I think I know the problem, at least imo. It's the community. I don't know about anyone else, but a LOT of the game now seems to be young kids (13 and under). While some are mature, most of them are not. A lot of these are the ksers, scammers, and hackers. -.-

There hasnt been a good week w.out effin s/c or problems they need to fix dis sh3t and make the game more stable.

Agreeing with above posters who say glitches, hackers, etc have always existed, but notes that they weren't as obnoxious as they are now.

Wizet use to run Maplestory. when Nexon arrived to take over, everything went downhill from there.
