Help me pick an Anime
I just finished Death Note, HSotD, Many...« Hiken-ch... ( ), Naruto, and Katawa Shoujo (Sorta kinda an anime but more like a VN)
I'm deciding between a few animes, can you guys help?
If you guys recommend an anime, can you guys explain the backstory/ plot without giving anything away so I can see if it appeals to me?

I like Hunter X Hunter 2011. It's about a sincere kid with some friends who go through a fantasy adventure to search for his dad. It has paranormal qualities and fighting. It's ongoing. It's my current favorite anime. I would watch the original version first. It has some subs on youtube
Trigun or Cowboy Bepop.
If you liked Death Note, you should watch Bakuman. Although they aren't really similar they are made by the author and artist. The plot is basically two people drawing manga and trying to get their manga serialized (sound boring I know, but trust me)

Chihayafuru: cards + drama
Yuru Yuri: moe + comedy
oreimo: typical life of otaku
sankarea: undead fetish
another: horror comedy
^ Steins;Gate and Chihayafuru are both amazing animes. Chihayafuru actually just began its 2nd season about two weeks ago.
My recommendation!

Tower of Druaga season 2
The story is based on the very old game, The Tower of Druaga, but creates a new story that revolves around a new cast of characters. The basic premise of the show is about adventurers and the army of Uruk Kingdom traveling into the Tower of Druaga, which opens every Summer of Anu to defeat the monsters inside. Monsters roam inside the tower and become weak during the Summer of Anu, giving people the opportunity to venture in and fight them.
While the basic premise of the story sounds a bit bland, the writers go more in depth than just going in a tower and fighting monsters. The story takes different turns which keep the viewer guessing what might happen. The boundaries of good and evil are shaded grey. The story has humor, action, and an overall great plot. The story breaks off into two season in which the second season shifts from the first season's humorous vibe to a more series one. I highly recommend it, but I warn you, sometimes it's really funny, but other times it makes you really sad.
(I watched the first season all in one day while eating cosco pizza, it was that good. The pizza was too)

Oh, I forgot to say that all or at least the 99% of the characters are likeable that you'll want them to appear again even the bad guys, so yea.
@malapo: Dragon Quest? I'm in!
^it feels like every comedy has 1 reference or 2 about dbz, seriously
@Hellksing: Gintama sounds pretty good, if it is anything near what you say it is. I love it when I see references in stuff. Thanks!
@tonytony40:
Bible Black: Satanic orgy sex with traps and stuff
Gintama: Comedy, parodies and some serious stuff, just give it a try you won't regret it, read reviews online etc, I'm not good explaining.
@tonytony40: One does not simply finish DB/DBZ/DBGT in a marathon.
It's kay, I'll be in the hyperbolic time chamber, no worries.
DB/DBZ/DBGT first, it will last you a while. SAO anime is fairly new and only has 25 eps, by the time you're done with the DB franchise, SAO will (hopefully) have plenty of more eps.
Well you see, I have finals next week, which means minimum school days. On the last day of finals, I want to get together with friends and have an Anime/ Smash Bros marathon, but I haven't decided the anime yet
@tonytony40: Which one?
@tonytony40: Which one?

Thanks alex.

Bible Black
OT: Gintama
I have a friend who watches it, and it has basically taken over her life.
I've seen a few episodes and I have to admit, it isn't my type of anime.
~You should watch Hetalia~ <3
