Why do i suck at pvp?
alot of i/l arch mages get at the top of the pvp list. but i really suck at this. can someone give me some tips to become better?

alot of i/l arch mages get at the top of the pvp list. but i really suck at this. can someone give me some tips to become better?

Stay at the edge of crowds. The more deaths you have, the more delay between deaths will affect your score. The way I see I/L fight, it's usually something in the bounds of using Blizzard from a less crowded area to pick off low health players. They usually follow up with an Ice strike and use Glacier Chain as a mob stunner and then finish off with any other attack. From there on, it's usually improvising situation
And watch for the players with glowing auras; this is an indicator that they're dangerously low on health but in turn, have higher attack. It's wise to pick these players off for higher point yield.

umm. maybe im asking to get "skill" sweetie
if u ffa then u should go for att more often and take risks on randoms
but if u team then it really is more about the skill of your team mates, u can be a beast but if your team sucks you're screwed. also avoid anyone with a upside down triangle in a circle over their head. they hit mages harder

You dont, all PvP in Maplestory is, is a random cluster of spam.

Stay away from CBs until you can use Ice Strike.

Well, Ice Strike is a hard hitter, so you have to open up with that when you jump down.
Then, you must keep spamming Teleport+Lightning.
When the cooldown for Ice Strike is over, find an opponent with the aura around them(which signifies their low hp) and use Ice Strike on them.
