Funding with Nx only
I plan on making an I/L mage when the new server opens up, this means that I won't be able to buy anything in terms of %int and ele staffs.
I'm probably buying Nx for the rest of my mesos on Windia which will get enough Nx for ALOT of cubes, what I would like to know is how you mages would've done this. I know that alot of the top tier mages cubed their gear by themselves, I'm basically asking for a funding guide, what items do I get first, which ones are most worth cubimg etc etc.
How would you guys do it? Let's start with 200-300k NX, what would you do with that amount of NX, without any equips from FM?

Not sure on the range you'd get but I know from cubing my gear to get anywhere near what I want on them it's taken probably a good 80+ cubes per item. You could always hunt in ToT for PoT and make some Reverse gear to use since Empress isn't an option. With my I/L I hit something like 150k~300k per line of a chain lightning strike. My range when buffed is I think like ~57k and that's just with mw30, and the other I/L buffs.

ppl earn money and they can spend it anyway they want, as long as it makes them feel happy and they feel is well worth it, then the money is well spent xD

It all depends on your economic status, I have the money to spend 1000$ on this game and still be able to do thinsg with my friend in real life if I want to.

Thanks for the only useful post yet, lol. I thought the same, Is it worth cubing every equip to 6% and move onto next one, and when every equip has 6-12% you start going for 15-21%? Also what equips should I get to cube, since there's no FM to but new items in.
I know that 300k NX doesn't get me far haha, It's my starting point, haha Would you know approx how strong I will get with 300k NX tho, I mean I can't be that unlucky that I get no profit from it, If I get 40k range am I considered lucky, or is 40k range easy to get with those cubes? I know that you and your alliance are strong, haha, I know how those people are, I'm not aiming for max damage, I just want a decent I/L.

Hahaha.... you're funny. $300 is what, 1-2 college textbooks. It's really not that much money in the long run. You can spend that money on an xbox, new tv, ipod, ipad, etc. Will any of those help you succeed in life? Nope, not at all -- it's just something to spend money on. $300 isn't even close to enough to even put a dent in living expenses and other required things as well. Pretty sure my car insurance is close to that amount per month and I never drive my car (I take a plane to college/traveling).

All my equips are self cubed, and it takes a lot more than 300k nx to get anywhere. Just aim for 12-15% and unique and move onto the next equip.
