What does Pro mean in Maplestory
hey guys what are your thoughts and opinions for the Maplestory term PRO
sometimes people say hes super pro or just there pro or you must be pro
maybe sometimes its a pro Guild.
So i'll throw it out there to the maplestory community What does PRO mean to you
and who do you know who is pro in your opinion and why

maybe its if someone thinks someone is pro they are to that player its a term of respect for maple achievments

He asked what each individual personally thinks PRO means so I gave him my answer. Even if damage is important within Maplestory, I still personally view it as arbitrary.
No idea, but it always feels odd whenever someone refers to me as a "pro."

People will probably laugh, but I can't say I really care.
Pro isn't about damage in the least (though there are plenty players who are pro and have good damage).
Pro is an attitude towards the game. It's being willing to help players who you've never met and don't know. It's giving even when you can't afford to be giving. Selflessness.
There's a certain swagger that truly "pro" players have about them. People who I place into this category usually (but not always) have been playing for a long while and, because of this, really understand that in the end all the **** waving and numbers are irrelevant. Pro players aren't about drama or the fastest solo times, but about friends, enjoyment, and love of the game. Most importantly though, pro players know the importance of the real metagame of maplestory. Pro people know how to afk.

anyone with spec is pro to me. so expensive to afford
@Mylust: You obviously were trying to be clever. It is clear that the topic is not about being a professional in reality. Either you are butt hurt about not being considered a "pro" on Maplestory or you're trying to be clever.
Anyones whos a high level who isnt a Lumi, DS, or aran.

wasn't trying to be, stop assuming things.
It means investing your life and/or money so that you can oggle over pixels and big numbers, thereby enhancing the illusion that your EP has been boosted.
Personally, IMO, pro means how well the player can control the character and can read attack patterns. You can throw millions on MS and do 50mil per line, but if you just spam one button and expect damage, you are just a noob and a spoiled idiot, even if you earned your own money
pro=professional, meaning like a career or job spends several hours a day across several years and has achieved a level of reputation and trust with a community of similar status.

DMG isn't arbitrary on Maplestory.

No one is "pro" to be "pro" you have to have companies throwing money at you, funding you and supporting at you.
"pros" Get paid maplers dont' and no selling equips isn't the same cause you still have to make them.
So noone is pro.
