Use Mesos to purchase Maple Points
Is this Nexon's greatest idea yet or another failure? What do u think? Its the last thing on the blog post...

OK the rates you put up are dumb. 100 mill for 1 maple point? That's stupid. I think 100mill= 1,000 1b= 10,000 etc.

It's what they're targeting.
Unless it's better than the rate given by most sellers, this is useless.
It doesn't say.
OT: It seems like a meso sink.
EDIT: Conjected conversion rate maybe:
100 Million Mesos = 1 Maplepoint
1 Billion Mesos = 10 Maplepoints
10 Billion Mesos = 100 Maplepoints
100 Billion Mesos = 1,000 Maplepoints
Considering that you can only hold 2.1b mesos at once, I incredibly doubt that the rate will be that drastic. XD
But yeah, it seems a lot like a meso sink to me. I like where this plan is going...
(Although I think it's going to be scrapped fairly soon. Gold farmers generate insane amounts of gold, which can be turned into nx after being bought by players... so unless they have a very high exchange rate, this is going to cause Nexon's money intake to plummet.)
In a business standpoint that is a dumb idea.
If you put it the same price no one would buy nx through $ therefore nexon loses profit
That wasn't what he was saying. No one would buy nx through real life money if the rate was something unreasonable? Is that what you're saying? o.o
In my opinion nexon should put it around the same price as the "illegitimate" conversion rate

@jamerican: Oh. I just noticed Max's comment. But still. I don't think the rates will be too generous.
I thought they said the npc was somewhere in nexon's files but not even released in tespia. It may not ever exist. I read it a while ago so my memory is kind of vague.
EDIT: Although you can't access it in game, this image is inside the wz files.
idk
@Trigonometry: Idk, just copy and pasted it from the article's comment section. I recalled it being similar to what someone who played in KMST said, so.
The owner of the blog said that that comment's exchange rate would not work seeing as their is much more space for the maple points

100 million mesos : 1 maple point... WITH a 6% transaction fee.
This is just another way to prevent selling/buying NX illegally. Kind of like the tradable NX thing.
Well there goes the way to make mesos selling nx. Really I have feeling they will f up and a hacker(s) will exploit it.
@pample
I don't believe that the npc has no "rate" yet.

You can't hold past 2b, so the 10b and 100b part is moot.
@Princeps Yes, this is the main question here.
Whats the rate
This all the way.
