What I did with a previous guild that disappeared:

Scavenger hunt for things in the Haunted forest and mansion
Go to the shack in henesys that only gunslingers could get to
Have a preset combination to drop onto the shack: state whether the item is the right one for that spot. Whoever completes it gets the prize.

Another one a previous guild did:

Make teams, state there are two competitions
Equip level 10 gear, nothing else.
Have each team go zakuming, the two fastest teams move on.
Of those who didn't move on, race to see which two teams can eliminate all the victoria island area bosses the quickest.
Then a cartoon show trivia game to determine the final team
Of that team, they compete against each other in a final maplestory trivia

I like the scavenger hunt ideal, but make it crazy, like all over Maple world, will give ya break while they hunt too. I use to to things lke this in my guild, it was a blast, and it made everyone work together more. If you have someone strong in your guild, or even a few strong players, have them guess the timeit will take for them to kill Zakum, the closest to the time wins. Another one is maybe find a boss, that everyone can kill, maybe 4 or 5, and call it the boss run scavenger, then they have to bring back the drops from the 5 bosses. Mushmum, etc.

You could try Trivia again, and if there's a prize I'm sure you'll get a good amount of participants. xD

and maybe you could try some in real life competitions where members would have to make certain things such as Holiday cards, or bake cookies..

Hi Bluey, cute guild . I'm not sure if this is inter-guild or intra-guild, so feel free to use these ideas for whatever you want.

Ideas:
Maybe do a race between guilds to see who can kill all the major bosses first (their guild leader has to provide a SS of the kill and show the date/time it occurred). The bosses can be chosen by you, depending on what you think is appropriate. All participating members of the guild must be present in each boss run, and members cannot split off to kill bosses at the same time. I recommend keeping the order of the kills up to the guilds, so there won't be a specific order to which boss is killed first.

To add to the race, we can also try a "race around the globe" where each guild is given a unique "baton" (a cheap equip crafted by you so nobody cheats by duplicating it), and guild members can race across maps and pass this baton to each other. The first guild to get the baton around the whole maple world wins.

hmm lets see.
we actually had a alliance omok competition before. me and ben planned it. in the end ben was late and when he finally logged on i had to log off. but plenty of other ppl were there and ryuu i think won. so even tho ppl signed up half didnt come and other just came without signing up. so it was mostly last minute stuff.

hide and seek would be fun but theres /find

scavenger hunt seems nice but items should be given in riddles.

also the person with the most gp should get something. (since they did contribute a lot)

i think u can also hold an art contest. best drawing gets a award. so it wont be biased i think you should get like a diff guild to vote on them. Also set up a tumblr page just for it. (kay made a guild tumblr before for insightful and she says its easy to make) art can be anything like sculpting from clay, computer art, sketching, backing a cake or w.e. just has to be maple/guild related.

I don't believe you can, but you have to make sure the people are trustworthy enough to not use it.

@xXSkittl3zz: You can't disable that option, but you can always have another person log onto a random character and tell people how the person looks.

get a bunch of volunteers to craft really basic low level items, so it says crafted by "whoever" distribute them too a second group of volunteers , outside of the guild if at all possible and have them hide all over the place, maybe someone is visiting grendel the really old, maybe someone is at the top of a jump quest, etc etc. Give hints to each hiding space and then set a time limit. Have them report back to you at whatever location and then show you the equips with all of the different names, BAM you have your winner

Trivia Questions, Omok tournaments, Scavenger hunts, Hide n Seek, PQ Racing, Racing in general, Dressing contests etc.
DCing is a general problem. You can either wait for them, or if it's consistent then it's really their own dilemma.
If they're not listening to you then they probably don't want the prizes badly enough. Just play with whoever listens and participates.

Hide somewhere in the world, and make people find you.
Obviously disable /find and etc...

You should do something like the hide and seek event Nexon has done. Let the players who give out the rewards stand at the location the other will try to find.

I think JQ would be the best option for your guild event. You could make it fair like make everyone start over if one person dc's or another idea. Good luck and have fun with your event
