TITLE: Does MapleStory put anybody else to SLEEP?
What I mean by this is, because I've been playing MapleStory for so long I've grown this awful habit of just being able to unconsciously grind whilst staring off into space. For some odd reason, this makes me really tired. It's not a physical tired, I just get really sleepy. Almost immediately after getting myself to do something else that isn't MapleStory-related, I'm no longer tired. I'm not complaining, I just find it weird because of the amount of repetition I put into the game makes me sleepy. Does anybody else do this?

ehhh when i do play i just boss nad log off, it does make me tired but i don't space out while doing stuf in game, just randomy afk and sleep
When you get to a certain level it's almost all about grinding or at least doing the same thing over and over again since there isn't any storyline to complete or anything fun to do. Some bosses are also quite repetitive to beat so I don't focus on defeating them as the only thing I do. I usually put some music in the background while I'm playing. The music I put is usually from Megaman X, Castlevania and rarely soundtracks from the game itself. (I don't put the BGM on though, I just go to Youtube and put some themes I like.) I don't grind all that much, though. I usually solosome bosses or try to complete some quests. (I'm only Lv. 180 so I guess that I have quite a lot of boredom ahead of me...)

It's probably because you're sitting on your ass doing a repetitive and monotonous task.
I used to be hella addicted to this game pre-bb... and I would never get sleepy because I would always be playing this..
then BB hit and I get sleepy playing this game the first 5~10min. Good thing.
I usually listen to music while I grind or watch a video. Dual monitors op >.<
