General Scania Help Hi! I haven't played in probably about a year or so.. I'm not dumb to the game so I can train, but I'm having difficulty adapting into a new world as I'd started up fresh in Scania. Is there someone who could generally point me around to getting funded? I'd gotten ahold of a decent bit of mesos (or atleast what I think is decent,) and just need to know what to look for and what is generally overpriced and what-not. I've also gotten some perm NX from boxes and want advice on how to go on selling those? I just need some general pointers and advice, nothing too extravagant. Maybe even a guild recommendation? ^^ Thanks ahead!
No World Selection? So I know this can be a lag issue, but I'm getting it for no reason. I'm not lagging, everything is perfectly fine. The game was running fine just hours before this, and now, for some reason, I cannot see the worlds in the world selection. Is there any solution to this or am I just forbidden from doing 2x? EDIT: I did restart my computer. Nothing. But I did launch from the file client rather than the Steam client and it worked.
Help with MapleStory resolution? I've been running MapleStory on 1600x900 for a while and it's been doing that perfectly fine. I went to Windows 10 and now it won't register that my resolution is 1600x900, instead it defaults at 1200xsomething and won't/can't go any higher.It's really annoying because it's literally a black square covering the game in full screen. Does anybody have a solution to this? </3 I don't want to have to go back to Windows 8 just because of the resolution not working correctly. EDIT: Didn't notice the previous thread on this~ whoops
Is a Ice/Lightning Mage worth making? I finally got my DRK to 200 (which, mind you, was extremely boring.) I want throw it away and make something good at mobbing. As I can see they're pretty good. If I can fund one, are they worth maining?
My Basil Character Picture wont update? O So, I recently got my account back and I can't seem to correctly update my character. It updates the level and image in the add character area, but it doesn't actually display it. As you can see my picture is my pinkish ugly char lol it won't actually display my character. (Picture:) it's the same character but the actually displayed one won't update lol Is there any way to make it update or is it just time? :~(

Does MapleStory put anybody else to quotsleep?quot TITLE: Does MapleStory put anybody else to SLEEP? What I mean by this is, because I've been playing MapleStory for so long I've grown this awful habit of just being able to unconsciously grind whilst staring off into space. For some odd reason, this makes me really tired. It's not a physical tired, I just get really sleepy. Almost immediately after getting myself to do something else that isn't MapleStory-related, I'm no longer tired. I'm not complaining, I just find it weird because of the amount of repetition I put into the game makes me sleepy. Does anybody else do this? EDIT: I guess I can't put quotes into the title. New to me.
Should I start all over? New World, New Account, New Start Recently I've found myself getting really bored with the character and world I've played in for oh-so-very long. Currently I'm in Yellonde or YMCK, but I have had the feeling that I should start over in a new world. Of course, I'm funded and have good guildies in this world that I'd hate to lose and transfer out of, but I don't know. I'd be doing this whenever I get NX whenever I decide to dump some money into it. Just so I'm not completely a noob in said new world. I come to Basil to ask, should I let the feeling pass or would a new world, new account be a good way to feel entertained by MapleStory again?
Class recommendation? I've brought this class to 160 and I feel quite proud (it being my highest, at the moment), but I've just sat through an entire level realizing how boring and inefficient a DK really is. I find my DK to be a great bosser, but beyond that it's quite boring because I don't boss very often. Switching classes wouldn't be much of a big deal because I'm not very funded anyways (the equips that are funds are all-class.) My problem personally with DK is that I don't get around quickly, and I basically only have 2 attacks none of which are really solid grinding attacks. I really want a class that I can sail through mobs, and move around quickly in maps. ** EDIT: Preferably an ATT class. Should I switch to a different class? If
Having issues staying connected My friend is having issues staying logged in. It will randomly, and always disconnect him between the first second of being in-game to 4 minutes. He'll start lagging to the point where everything is still and he can't attack, and after a few seconds of waiting for that to go away he'll get disconnected (both to the main menu, or crashing completely). He's tried both the website's download and Steam's down, but it results in the same thing. He has re-installed and refreshed the game cache (on Steam). It's been happening for the past 2 days now, and we still have no idea what's wrong. I'm not having the same issue. I can log into every character I have, and it won't disconnect me. The problem is, I will turn my computer off sometimes to keep it from overheating because I'm an idiot and enjoy laptops. But when I turn my computer back on, and launch the game from the folder it loads for a few seconds and gives me a window saying that MapleStory.exe has stopped responding. I've tried using the website to launch the game afterwards as well, but it gives me the same error. Sometimes it will happen when when I move the folder's location to (example: My desktop, My main folder). After doing so, the same thing will happen and it won't laun

Is Nexon's Auto-ban that bad? Well, my Battle Mage just got banned again! Last month, I was banned because of the auto-ban. I was only a level 50. Just an hour or so ago, I got to 116 and making the character my new main. While i was training at Vikings, I got disconnected. "OH, Internet again.." When I tried logging in... Now i'm afraid to make another account to play while waiting for the lift. When I had got banned that last time, I sent a ticket: Rejected. I send a ticket again, I'm going to see if Nexon decides to ban me again. What do you think I should do while I wait off the ban?
"Be a MapleStory designer" Question. So, I submitted a Party Quest Idea to Nexon when the Event was out. It was supposed to end on March 15th. Did it end and the prizes were handed out? I haven't seen anything about the contest for a while. Or have they decided to take the contest out and I wasn't informed?
What's our Home World and why? What's your home world and why? My home world is Yellonde. I choose Yellonde over any other world because Yellonde has very few people and theres almost NEVER any Scammer/Hackers here. The only hacker I know is Favvkoff. But he's known by almost everybody in Yellonde. He's only a FM-Crasher. I haven't seen one IRM hacker or anything such as that for a while. Items here are pretty cheap and it's a fairly good chance to find a channel at a popular map. If you were to have an alternate world, what would it be? My alternate world would be Demethos.
