Please join me in logic.

It has come to my attention that there's a problem that has been troubling some players.

The problem being that the experience formula has been reverted back to 6:4 vs 8:2. This concerns players because it has cut into there training speed, and has partially removed spots that have been good training spots to us. What i would like people to realize is that before Big bang, Chaos, and Ascension people leveled just fine with this very same ratio training on mobs that gave far less experience. I remember when it used to take weeks even months to attain 1-120 even 1-70 was a battle and a half. Granted back than we had experience coupons to lessen the sting, but even players that had no Nx to purchase these coupons leveled just fined. The thing is players new and old have become spoiled by what used to be, and so now they are upset that it is gone and that they are not able to gain what they used to gain. What people are failing to realize is that MapleStory is a Mmo/Rpg, and by baser law of that fact the higher the ladder in levels you climb the harder it is supposed to be to get there meaning greater the end reward. People have forgotten or never knew how hard this used to be, and should realize that it is considerably easier now than it used to be. Nexon is not free from blame here though i agree with many in the sense that places where higher level training grounds should have remained uneffected or at the very least less effected. Still though the fact remains that this is indeed an Mmo/Rpg which means leveling should become harder. I only ask that people listen to me as an unbiased voice of reason, and to please stop flaming and to think logically about this.

~Thankyou for your time.~

The only thing i wish is that there were more places to train i don't always want to be in a party. It's not that I'm anti social its just that sometimes i just want to be alone grinding.
Anyways I don't know how much longer this thread will last so I would like to thank everyone that posted to and read this. Take care all of you, and just try and make the best of it. If not why bother playing the game.
But the sole fact of Big bang and Chaos was to lessen the pain of training and give more rewards for efforts...

I'd say just make it all easy and let us with less time get more benefits
They did lessen the pain of leveling and it is still greatly decreased from what it was. though you must realize this is an mmo and this is how these games are supposed to be. If you like leveling and climbing ranks without effort you should go boost in Cod or something, and not be playing this game.
Well Nexon could at least leave exp/drop rates the same without always changing because it is that which change the nature of people.
This is also true, but as time changes so must the game. I believe this was there way to combat the extreme rash of lvl 200s. They probably believed it was becoming to the point that if they didn't do something people may have stopped playing because the game was too easy, but i agree they should come to a consensus and leave it.

Everything good comes with time and patience. People are not as willing to agree with this as time progresses on and on. Expescially with the whole "instant gratification" being pushed more and more into todays society.

I'm happy with the change. It was agonizing to see how much faster everyone who spent so much money on this game were leveling. Sure it's fair considering they spend their money on it. But the difference between weak and strong was just insane since LHC came out.

I like the new/old exp ratio.

Also, I like how people who hogged a channel to solo with 5 mules are getting cut off. Selfish bunch.

I agree with that 100% it used to be a commodity and is now a thing of legend.
