Best class to come back to the game with? I know this will probably get a lot of unrelated answers, but I've been having some MapleStory nostalgia and I'm curious what character you think would be able to get me high enough to kind of get that old Maple-party-bossing-achievement feeling, you know? Or if that didn't make any sense, what character would be best to come back with no funds? I will have about 500m (I know that I've seen that's nothing these days), so I was just counting it as no funds. I do have access to NX, but not unlimited amounts.

If Im starting completely over, where exactly do I start? Just to make a long story short, I've played this damned game off and on for nearly a decade I'm sure, and I thought I would come back. I had a few characters that had the money and gear to pass down to other characters to level them, but I wanted to give MS a new experience with everything that's changed (I've played off and on through updates, but not enough to know anything extensive). So I have a few questions: 1. Should I make a certain class before I make what I would want to be my main? (i.e. is it recommended to make a Cygnus Knight for their buff (that I believe they still give?) before anything else? 2. Are there any recommended quest lines, party quests, or specific areas

Returning to MapleStory. Whats the best route? Hi! It's been awhile since I've played (the last thing I remember is probably Mercedes coming out), and although I've been trying to keep up with the updates, I wanted to get someone else's opinion. I could easily go start back over in Bellocan where I last once main-ed a character (i.e. where all of my equipment and meso are at), but I wanted to start over somewhere in a more populated server in hopes of meeting people to give me a refreshed interest in the game. The question I have for you guys, though, is this: what class would be best to start with? For completely starting over, where should I look? Should I be making a Cygnus Knight for their buff as a prelude to my main character, or focu

The best way to start over? After years and years of playing, the last place I left off was Bellocan. I'd love to have a fresh start, even if that means leaving behind the few billion mesos, equipment and the like to go somewhere more populated and hopefully meet some great people. I know the question "What have I missed?" has been thrown around a lot recently, but this isn't necessarily about what I've missed. I've kept decently up-to-date with the patches, but .. I'm not sure the best way to start over. Let me try to explain what I mean a little better. If I were to start completely fresh on a new server, should I work towards making X character for the link skill? Should I raise a main for funding? Should I purchase certain thi

Would a Cannoneer or Mechanic be most worth it? Looking at what's to come for both classes (well, that the kMS/gMS communities know of right now, at least), I'm curious that if you were to spend the same amount of time and funding on each character, which one would be "most worth it" in the long run. Which one would have better bossing potential, training potential, equipment potential, etc.? I know Cannoneer's are above Mechanics in damage right now, but will it remain that way in the long run (and by long run I mean what we know now)? I already have a Cannoneer at Level 70 for the skill, but I don't want to invest time and funding into it when it would make more sense to put that time and funding into the Mechanic.

What makes the Pirate class so unappealing to Maplers? This was just a thought that I've been mulling over in my head for about an hour while browsing through the Pirate forums. I, like many players, remember the hype of the release of the class -- something different than the traditional four in every game, wielding guns and knuckles, topping DPS/M charts and inspiring players to do the same. I can't recall off of the top of my head when they were released into gMS, but I do know one thing: the hype is definitely gone. It's expected, though, for every new class to die down eventually, but it seems the Pirates have fell below the normal quitting rate. It makes me wonder, then, why people don't venture into Pirates anymore? Is it because the

Coming back character essentials? I'm coming back after a bit of a break and I was wanting to start over in a new world. I'm not really here to ask about which class to play, but what I was wondering is what equipment you guys considered to be essential to helping maximize leveling and stat potential for the 1-120 bracket. I'll work getting to 120 before I start heavily going into potential equipment for my main stat (which is .. well, whatever I decide my character to be first), but I'm just curious as to what you think because I'm sure things have changed. Thank you. c:

Why are you sticking out your Mechanic character Don't take this offensively as if I'm saying, "Mechanics are the WORST class! Why on earth would you be stupid enough to keep one?" Because I'm not. I've just been browse/lurking the forums around here for some time, going all the way back in threads to before Jump and post-Chaos, and it seems like more negativity about the class has been brought up than pros of playing one. Quoting someone on here I can't remember, it apparently weeded out the people who played for damage and left the people who actually enjoy the class. But do you care about your damage, or lack there of? Why did you stick with this character? Is it because of it's level, or it's gear? It's guild, or friends? The
