Logging Tickets and Gmail Long story short, after changing the E-mail ID associated with my MS account, I have not gotten an automated message or a reply from a GM about my ticket's status. My previous E-mail ID was a hotmail, but I now use G-mail. Does G-mail block e-mail from nexon support? I've requested to change my Password and PIC numerous times since switching to g-mail and i always get a confirmation e-mail stating 'request to change password/PIC succesfull'. o.o so, any g-mail users here?
Latest patch - Gameguard changed? o.o It startled me when I saw it pop up on my screen. Gameguard was replaced by something called "Nexon guard - Blackciph3r" :3 Is that... supposed to happen? Is this normal? I'm worried/paranoid now, because the name of it just screams "lol, dis a hacker/keylogger/virus" sign. Why on earth would Nexon use 1337 speak in their new gameguard? I'm worried simply because I just finished re-imaging my PC yesterday, so I couldn't possibly have contracted a Virus that would cause this issue. Is it me or is maplestory crashing/freezing alot? Well, up until about an hour ago, Maplestory was running just fine. But now, I can't seem to get in more than 15 minutes or so of consecutive gameplay without freee-lagging or Disconnecting from the server! :~( I've tried restarting my computer, resetting my internet connection, reducing all running tasks, lowering graphics quality, etc... but nothing seems to work. :/ Is maplestory causing troubles for anyone else? Or is it just me?
What sort of programs do you trust to keep your Pc secure? Now, before some of you start flipping desks about this being in the wrong section, I would like to say that I put this here, because it has to do with Maplestory and account security. Now, moving on. Like the title is asking, what program(s) do you use to keep your PC clean of junk and secure from malware, viruses, keyloggers, etc? I personally use: - Bitdefender 2010 Total security (Planning to upgrade to the latest version eventually) - Microsoft Security Essentials (Sort of useless, as I don't think it picks up anything before BD gets rid of it) I don't have a program to clean junk out of my PC (I.E: CCleaner or Advanced System Care) yet, because I don't know which one is 'good'
