Australian iPhone Help So I live in Australia and am buying my friends old iphone 3. The only thing is that I want to be able to use my current Virgin prepaid sim card in it. When I put my sim card in the iphone it has no network coverage and it pretty much doesnt recognise the sim card. So I would like to know why.... One of my friends said I have to get the phone unlocked because it is locked with another company but the contract ran out a year or so ago so I am not sure. Is it even possible to unlock the iphone to use with whichever phone company I want and whatever plan I want to....
