Game won't start Whenever I try launching the game from the website, a window pops up with the dialogue "Welcome to maplestory. Download the game to start playing." I have already downloaded the game & installed it yet keep getting the same dialogue. When I try using the GameLauncher application, it executes then freezes. Anyone having this same prob?
A request for Mr. Basil Would it be possible to have a GM describe their duties to the Maple community? Skript kiddies are becoming more problematic. The losers are now crashing channels simply b/c they're on a power trip. I may not be the only person, but am possibly the most interested to learn what goes into banning these losers & preserving the game from the pollution of their continued existence. Give us some understanding as to why the GM's seem rather lethargic on immediate action when players start posting smegas about being harassed, d/c'ed or kicked off maps.
An idea to solve the max meso issue Instead of Nexon raising the max meso cap, implement an NPC which trades the mesos for an item worth the max mesos. This would eliminate the problem of players having to worry about squirreling away money on multiple other characters & is portable between characters. What does the Maple community think of this idea?
FM Room CC & Ereve Nearest Town Scroll Fail FM CC Fail. I'm sure you ppl have noticed that when you CC in the Ludi FM rooms, it sometimes puts you at the ass end of the map so you end up walking half an hr to the entrance. Ereve Nearest Town Scroll Fail Instead of teleporting you into downtown, it ports you to the Empress. Then you have to walk through another useless map to get back to downtown where shops & storage is. It irks me ... especially when playing a slow as Hell character that has to walk through 20 maps back & forth for multiple quests. Fail HP / MP Level Up Fail I just LOVE leveling up a Resistance or KoC character then dying b/c the level up ATE UP HALF MY HP / MP instead of restoring them like is supposed to happ
Portal Fail LOL You can the bottom portal to the top portal. If you are to the portal from the top, you jump boost equips or skill like Flash Jump.
Help with Town Lag I was lagging hardcore in towns to the point where Winblows shut down Maple. Thanks to Zyanid, I can now get my 4th job advance without lagging out or getting super pissed. Download GameBooster. Default settings are NOT recommended. Shut down processes & programs you don't need so you can free up RAM & resources to play. Each system is different so keep that in mind. Thank you, Zyanid, for enabling me to get 4th job & for helping others break free of Nexon's failure! I thank you, as will many other maplers having the same problem.

Fail suspension from fail banbot Tried using the gamelauncher & got suspended for "misconduct" ... ROFLWTFail? What dumbasses.
Consistent crashing Sometimes, before I quick move, I incidentally end chatting with an NPC that has some quest. Once I quick move to the other place, Maple freezes then crashes. Nexon really has made this game a tragedy. Good job turning this game into another Titanic.
