4x100 Meter Relay help

So I have a meet coming up for track on Saturday, and I'm 3rd leg for the 4x100 meter relay. So far this is my first time ever running any type of 100 meter race, (and I'm in friggen VARSITY), so are there any helpful tips that I should know about? Like how should I sprint the 100 meter dash starting from the curve?

If you are doing relays, remember to stay in your lane if the 2nd person is passing the baton to you start jogging to the triangle spot, then start sprinting

well remember to watch your lane if you get out of your lane you know what happen.. DQ
good luck though, i have my first meet on march 7th

Yeah that's what I was thinking, but I'm not entirely sure.

@jacob510: This is most likely true.
Considering it only takes 12 seconds, I don't see why tips are needed.

100m you should probably just sprint your hardest, don't look at your opponents and just focus on running.

I know nothing about track, but If I were you, I'd start off running normally and then go into full speed towards the end, when your opponent gets tired.
I recommend observing your opponent's whole team, because coaches often teach the runners the same way.
If they do what I recommended, then run fast starting off to get ahead, and then do a slower pace when you're sure you'll win.
