Need help on how to solve step by step
Started school last week and my geometry class has been reviewing alot of stuff that we were supposed to know and I forget things easily unless reminded on how to do it . Can you post on how to get the answer to this problem?
Solve for X, X+3/2 = 3 I can simply just plug in 3 for the x and solve it to make the equation true and be done with it, but I need to know how to find what X is and not by just guessing the answer correctly, thanks !

One does not simply "find" x
x is not tangible yet it can be felt by the billions across the world
many have gone on perilous journeys to find x ,but very few have ever achieved x
what you seek cannot be given.... your journey to find x will lead you to new places, meet new people, experience new things
some of these might be good some might be bad ,but you must remember one thing on your journey to find x...
x is a variable... meaning it could be anything
I wish you the best of luck on your journey my friend
may the x be with you
X+3/2 = 3
subtract (3/2) from both sides such that:
X+(3/2) -(3/2) = 3 -(3/2)
X + 0 = (6/2) - (3/2)
X = (6-3)/2
X = 3/2
Cancel out the /2 by multiplying both sides by 2. Then it will be X +3 = 6. Subtract 3 and you get 3.
Thank you ! Now I know how to do it xD
@TheGreen I'll PM you anytime I have trouble with homework or something in geometry Honors homework such a pain when my teacher goes through things so fast e.e
PM me with any questions. I've been through geometry, statistics, and calc. I can explain most things pretty easily.
