Water Properties Help
May any of you guys list 3 water properties (Polar, etc) and explain its function/definition sorta thing . And are Cohesion and Adhesion considered 2 different water properties ? I have to list at least 3 .
Cohesion is between water molecules and water molecules, they tend to stick together and hence allow continuous flow of water up the xylem (I'm assuming this is from a biology perspective?)
Adhesion is between water molecules and an object, so water will stick to the walls of the xylem helping with the transpiration pull.
Yes, this is from a biology perspective, thanks for explaining

low vapor pressure: water will vaporize much slower than other liquids. if water had a high vapor pressure, you could watch it vaporize in little time.
high specific heat: water has to absorb a lot of energy (heat) to increase a gram of water by one degree celcius. an example is that coastlines do not face as large variations in temperature when more or less heat is added.
Solid more dense than liquid - provide stable environment for organisms living in water
High latent heat of evaporation - Cooling effect
Polar - Used as a transport medium/ solvent
