I/l Mage or Luminous
Which one is stronger if both were equally funded? And please state why you think one is stronger than the other. Thank you .
All classes are gonna be unlocked in the next patch if you guys didn't know .

I'm not an expert on either like @GoXDS, but if I were to compare the two I'd compare Chain Lightning to Reflection. Both are similar attacks but training-wise I give the nod to Reflection becuse of its ability to bounce all over the place. If you're say in evo world, Reflection is amazing. Not saying CL isn't amazing (and it probably is ten times better than Reflection at bossing) but Reflection is one of the best training skills.
JoeTang puts GMS Lumi at the bottom of the charts =P (does not factor Equalize though)
while this is not the whole picture:
Lumi - let's assume 165 s "cd" of Equilibrium with Equalize and Change Dark/Light. may not be the best to always back to back Equilibrium but it won't double its dmg or anything by using optimum
(30(1.3*333*14/0.69)+165(340*4*1.5*1.35/0.42))/195 = 6900%/s
this assumes 30s of Ender Spam and 165 s of Spectral Light spam during that "cd"
Spectral Light's delay is assumed 420 ms (seems ~half to me but hey)

(3.5/3)1.5*1.4*1.2((380/3.3)+(340*7+200*7)/(0.93+0.69)) = 7198.5%/s
which includes average output of Infinity, Elemental Amp, Storm Magic w/ Elquinies + alternating GC + CL Spam
this does not factor crit, which I/L has an advantage in outside of Equilbrium nor does it factor I/L's DoT nor the fact that Lumi has more +matk skills which is balanced by the unfactored higher base matk on staves compared to rods. also does not factor Lumi's longer recast times nor Dark Crescendo's buff always resetting and taking time to build up. against non-0% PDR monsters, GC's Ignore PDR is also unaccounted for.
