Demon Avenger Great Beginner and/or Inexpensive Class?

I just wanted a confirmation of this for the sake of people I know who want to start playing. (I've been around for a few years, but my casual gaming nature makes me seem a lot less experienced than the years I've been into the Maplestory game would suggest. I'm no expert on anything, really.)

Seems like, generally speaking, warrior-equip type classes can be great beginner classes because:

1.) They tend to have a certain button-mashing aspect in their fighting styles that is easy to learn/use.
2.) They don't burn through as many MP potions as some other classes do (note: some warrior classes seem to use more mana than others). This means gold is saved by not having to buy so many pots.
3.) The don't have limited and expendable ammo like some thief, pirate, and bowman class types do. Not having to constantly buy all this ammo also means gold is saved.

The Demon Avenger class has all these perks and a little more! The fact that the main focus is HP and no MP is used whatsoever further simplifies the game for beginners. Also, the promotional perks that are going on right now further help newbies and seasoned peeps alike save on the cost of potions and equipment they'd otherwise have to buy (I am assuming that the Demon Avenger event has the same equip gifts at certain levels that previous classes had when they were first introduced... that is part of how I barreled through the Kaiser class and made buckets of gold in the process).

I was going to suggest this class while it's available to friends just starting play Maplestory. What do you guys think?

Sheesh! Haha...

Okay, so I started trying out the class today. I haven't used a pot ONCE. I also front-loaded the Overload Release skill first, before leveling other skills. That seems to allow all HP to be recovered after twenty hits, like Business said. This class really seems like a bit of a button-mashing overkill, but hey, other classes have been like that in the past. *shrug* (I get bored with the game and the characters easily... usually, I'm lucky to break 50 before loosing momentum.)

The potions, I just sell them all back, and keep the freebie 0 meso ones on reserve, just in case. I already broke 150,000 mesos without realizing. Geez.

Whelp. If anything, I'll use the class to generate funds for other, more expensive classes. Because I'm a cheapskate and only play for the occasional enjoyment of it.

Totally going to recommend this class to newbies.

Demon avenger uses no pots at all besides bossing.
They dont have MP, and you can heal ALL of your HP every 20 attacks. It also has some other healing skills. And %HP is pretty easy to get like ^ said.

I think DA is one of the cheapest classes in the game right now, except for mastery books because its a new class

play it

It's not likely to get nerfed anytime soon either which is a huge boon for newer players. It's also easy to get some free %HP or +HP from common things like character cards and link skills, not to mention some common endgame-ish gear having %HP to begin with (Rex Earrings, CZHelm, CHTP...)

So yes I'd recommend it for beginning players who are looking for something stable and simple to comprehend.
